GKTW Meet: Delaware DIS Meet, Nov. 1-3, 2013 - OCT. 18 last day for Registration!!!

Deadline for registration will be Oct. 1 2013. If you want to come to the Saturday event make sure that you get tickets by Sept 15 2013. We are going to open up registration to the public on Sept 16. The auctioneer that we are using will be advertising the event on his web site. I want to make sure that the DISers who want to come get to come.
 
Do we know what Dis team members will be attending?
As of right now I do not know what podcast team members will be attending. As soon as I find out I will post that information.

I really hope that T and Kathy will be coming. I would like them to see Finn and Abby.
 
Happy that you are going to be able to make the event! There is a Amtrak station in Newark DE. The hotel is about a mile from the station. PM me if you need transportation from the station and/or any of the events.

Will definitely PM you closer from the station to the meeting for the Live Podcast recording on Saturday of it.

I know it SEEMS like November 3rd is a Long Time Away, but with it coming up to the last week of August, and pre-registration CLOSING on Oct 1, that means we have a little more than 5 weeks.

Our event registration total, outside of volunteers, is, well... Let's just say the Hosts & Podcasters & Volunteers outnumber the number of Guests. And whereas we DO want to provide an Excellent Guest Experience, One-On-One may be a bit too much :)

The auction site that Denise mentioned has been updated with a lot of new photos - the listings may be incorrect (silent vs. Chinese vs. Live), but at least the photos are up.

Now, if you HAVE already registered, please let us know, because we haven't gotten it.

If there is a reason why you haven't registered (like you haven't seen something / expected to get something), let us know. This is our first event, and we might have missed something you all are expecting!

I haven't yet because I'm not sure when I can get down there on Friday. Waiting to see how my schedule is. I will definitely register within the next 2 weeks.

I think people will register when you confirm which Podcasters will be there :thumbsup2

What is the auction site? Do you have a link?

Also, I haven't registered yet but I plan to - just waiting for a final rehearsal/performance schedule for the play that I'm in.

The pictures and the descriptions might not be great but at least it gives people an idea of what we have for the auction. I still have items for the live auction and items that have been donated to post. Let me know what you think of the site.
 
And even though it may look like we have a lot, we are still looking for & accepting items from the community / friends / businesses.

Also, extra hands and brains (e.g. volunteers) are also welcome. We will have a get-together sometime real soon to discuss who wants to do what, etc.

Are you guys looking for just Disney stuff? I'm asking because I think I might still have a bunch of my old Hello Kitty stuff (purses, dolls, etc) that kids would like, maybe for the Chinese Auction? I'll be at my parents' house this weekend searching through my boxes. Hopefully will find some good things to donate! :goodvibes
