Which date is better?

So I am taking my mom to disneyland for a whole day. I have an annual pass and she used too. I am trying to decide which date would be the best, least amount of referbs. Least crowded. Etc.

I am thinking of doing either the last week of october (that wednesday) or november 1st, 3rd, or 6th.

When do they take down the halloween overlays of ghost galaxy on space mountain and such this year?

I would like at least all the big rides to be open. When does BTMRR open back up again?

The end of the Halloween Time is officially Oct 31st
One of Mickey's Halloween Party is the 30th so I am not sure how that will effect the parks but it is a ticketed event.
The problem with the first weekend in November is that they could be doing the Christmas Parade Filming for ABC and it does effect the crowds.
The day I would chose is November 6th it seems to me to be the least crowded of the days you listed.

As far as I can see Space Mountain is only closed Nov 4th to remove the Halloween overlay. Small World is closed Oct 27th- Nov 7th. Big Thunder Mountain is closed till Oct 30th.

I think the Christmas Day parade taping is vets day weekend. Otherwise they'd only have 2 days to get enough Christmas decor up.

Last year it was Nov 3rd and the year before Nov 4-6th so I was going based on where it has been years before. I am only assuming it will be the first weekend this year as well but you never know.

I think I read it on another site from a parent of one of the dance groups. I'm not positive though.

The Haunted Mansion overlay lasts until the first week in January. The Big Thunder refurb is now rumored (mostly verified) to last until next February since they have to work the new safety requirements into the plan halfway through construction. Not sure when Ghost Galaxy get's stripped from Space Mountain, but someone already answered that one. The last week in October tends to be pretty crowded since Halloweentime has become almost a "peak" season over the last few years.

According to a manager in Adventureland/Frontierland attractions, they're aiming to have it open by the holidays rather than February

I've heard both February and The 30th.

I'm thinking that the 6th may be my best bet. Im trying to stay away from Veterans Day weekend. And still be able to go on one of the least crowded days. Maybe ill try to shoot for earlier in October or later in September.

Hoping I'm able to pick a date. Normally since I have an AP I just show up and deal with whatever crowds. But since I'm planning an all day thing I was trying to choose a day that the crowds weren't too bac
