Was so excited this morning when I went on MDE and saw 64 days left that I went on YouTube and did a MAGIC KINGDOM WALKTHROUGH just to feel like I was there.

BLT. And MNSSHP on the 31st.:) We are so excited. We haven't had a vacation in 5 years.

We are staying at POP. When we went last year, that was my 5th time but I haven't been since 93. My DH hadn't been there since before Epcot was built. But it was my kids first time. Going on spring break, totally by accident, was a wrong choice. It was soooo crowded you couldn't do much of anything. Plus we squeezed 4 parks in 3 days and stayed with my FIL an hour away....VERY long drive after we left the parks. We are looking forward to doing the parks and taking our time and actually enjoying everything they have to offer.

I've done that too!! Lol

Just decided were going to use garden grocer for breakfast food the week were at POP. I priced what breakfast would cost us for the week and I don't want to pay that much. We have QSDP but we plan on using that for lunch and dinner. We'll buy breakfast some mornings but not all.

We usually use our snack credits to get some of our breakfasts. The cinnamon roll in mk is one we do then just buy our coffee. My son's not a big breakfast eater so he's happy with just some toast or a muffin.

We'll probably do that too. But that'll probably be done as a morning snack. We are all breakfast eaters. Even if its something simple like a bagel with cream cheese. But I am definitely going to try some of Disney's breakfast pastrys...I'm looking forward to that.

We will be going to f w festival nov 11. Using our snack credits there

Nope...I was there for spring break last year.....NEVER ageain. I was watching the weather last year in October and it looks like 80's during the day and 60's at night. We'll be down there the same time as you though. 10/26-11/2 and the MNSSHP on the 27th :)

Why never again? Is it crazy busy during spring break? I've considered going at that time before, so I'm interested in your feedback....thanks!

Just saw this post, after I sent that other question. :)

It was horrible. We went in the middle of March. Lines were crazy long. We didn't do Its A Small World, Splash Mountain, Toy Story Mania, Backlot Tour, Tower Of Terror, The Little Mermaid show at HS, or Rockin Roller Coaster...there was a 2 hr wait with no FP left for the day. There were people everywhere and you couldn't really enjoy what was around you. This time I plan on doing everything. If we miss something one day we'll go back the next and do it.

Black.....Are you noticing a lot of people with magicbands? Have you heard anything about how they are working? How about fastpass+? Have you heard anything about regular fastpasses...are they harder to get?

I cant wait. i want to start packing ;). We're flying out of Memphis Nov 11.

Awesome! We have always flown, but as of now our local airport isn't flying direct to MCO. So we either drive 2 hours to a different airport or catch a connecting flight there. Its only a 8 hr drive for us, so we will try it this time! Hope we dont regret it!

Having worked for an airline for many years (although not anymore), I will drive if at all possible. The various pains of security, the full flights, etc. make it a hassle unless it's just a requirement. My family "travels well" and we all enjoy a good ride.

8 hours is about the "cut-off" we use to start considering flying, but even then, the cost of the drive is usually cheaper. By the time I get a ride to the airport (or pay to park), get through security with enough time for me to be comfortable in case things go wrong, make the flight, get a car, etc. - well, by them I've used most of the 8 hours, it seems like.

We're coming from south Atlanta, so a little less than 8 hours, hopefully (depends on traffic).

Less than a month!

I wish we were only 8 hours! We do 12 hr trips by car but Disney would be about 25, assuming it went well. Flying is the only option for us. But with dropping the dog off, getting to the airport (hour an a half travel time), shuttles, checking in, the flight itself (at least it's direct), magical express - that's going to be a solid nine hours!
