Evening....

Been told I'm officially taking over the beer section in the store as of Monday, not sure how the old guy feels about it yet. Time to turn it around and show what I can do.

So...am I the only one out there NOT interested in Disney Infinity? DW actually offered to get it for me tonight I turned it down. We don't use our systems enough as it is, as it sems like a bit of a money trap to me. Needing to spend more and more on disks etc...Maybe it's just me.

Congrats on being controller of the Beer :cool1:

Congrats on the promotion. I haven't got into the Disney Infinity stuff. I don't know if DW will buy it or not. I have the Wii and play Mario and other games from time to time, but am just not that big of a gamer.

It was made by Disney of course it's going to be a money trap. :lmao: But I'm with you in not being into Infinity. Maybe were the ones missing out :confused3 I don't play the games I have now enough and I don't think a new game will change how much I play. Maybe if DS was a little older and into this it would be something I would get that we could both play, since he's not I don't feel it's something I need to sink all my time and money into.

Evening Guys.

Just came back from my first paintball experience and it was a blast. DS's soccer team did as their season-ending party. 16 kids and 6 dads; managed to shoot DS twice. :lmao:

Not into Disney Infinity either Brent. We have a Wii and a PS3 but haven't used it much lately. When I did I was more into shooters and such.

Congrats Brent on being the keeper of the suds!

As for infinity, we have it. I haven't really played it much, just ran around the basic "toy box" world. But my kids play it a lot. There are a bunch of adventures in the "playsets"...
Yeah, of course it's a money trap, but Chanukah is right around the corner (or Christmas for the majority of you guys) and we will end up dropping some big $$ on gifts anyways, why not build the infinity collection...

Morning guys.

First day of Kindergarten for DD today... Pretty sure she was just 2 years old a week or so ago... How did we get here again?:confused3

Paul - I hear ya. Time whizzed by. I'm trying to slow it down as DD gets more excited about school and ditching me

Good morning all, another day in paradise, or New Jersey at least. In 28 days, one hour and 22 minutes we will begin the trip to WDW. Just working on the list for the tool bag and other roadtrip necessities. Can't come a moment two soon.

Haha. Good news on the trip. However, at no point in time have I ever heard paradise and New Jersey in the same sentence.

Congrats. While I certainly don't have the wisdom of most here, I know that each step my girls take out the door towards more independence is both a difficult and necessary part of life. Part of our jobs as dads is to prepare them for life when we can't be there.

Amen!

Congrats on being the Beer King again, may your reign last Forever!

And No, you're not alone. Not big on video games, but feel free to come join me on Avengers Alliance over on Facebook. :)

By the way Gentlemen, I won the last cation contest, so, I posted Ryder's Meat Eating picture for the next go around. Come on over and let's see how funny you are. Contest: DIS caption contest

Up early this morning. I woke up around 5:30 AM and couldn't get back to sleep. So, I'm enjoying the quiet dark morning and the chirping insects outside. Hope all have a great day.

Morning....early shift today, but then I get to go home early so I'll take it.

My reign shall be long and terrible!Woe to those who oppose me. :rotfl2:

I feel a little better on the infinity front after hearing the responces. My two girls love games, but mainly stick to their handhelds or Just Dance series for the Xbox, Wii barely gets touched anymore. We were in EB Games last night, there is one in the plaza where I work, and DW found loads of used DS games dirt cheap they were trying to clear out. We got 7 games for the girls for $32, not bad, and I was looking at a couple of xbox games that were pretty damn cheap too, but held off. They hada wall of Infinity stuff, and the prices just kept adding up, I just can't see me doing it. I'd probably get a big kick out of it, but then move on to other things.

And now you know why I get up early :coffee:

But, I usually fall back to sleep quickly. I am a regular 8 to 9 hour sleeper, and occasionally get up once at night to pee, depending on how late I was drinking. I think the problem for me is too much exercise. I helped coach a soccer clinic on Wed, coached my team on Thursday, and cut the grass yesterday. Three consecutive days of exercise is both unconscionable and inconceivable.

I thought it was because you go to bed so early.

I thought only old people went to bed early. :lmao:

I know it is rare when we want to to speed forward, but here is where I do. My youngest (9) gets out of school at 2:30 PM, rides the bus home, and gets her about 3:00 PM. So, DW's work schedule is 7 to 3, which means she gets up everyday at 5:30 AM. Once dd goes up to middle school, it doesn't dismiss until 3, and the bus ride home is around 3:30. Getting up 30 minutes later will be wonderful.

Morning Guys,

Good to see so many of you up on a Saturday morning but it's not early, it's 9:45. :lmao:

Morning Gents,

Happy second week of college football. Not as good as last week but three good games today. Worried a bit about the Gators this week. Hate, hate, hate the Canes and hoping they get their butt kicked today. BBQ chicken and pasta salad were made yesterday so that will be my lunch/dinner today.

Have a good day and weekend everyone. I will know how my day is going by 3:00 pm this afternoon.

Forgot to mention...

Doctor's office called about 1:30 yesterday telling me they had the results of the blood tests. Called them right back and they were already closed. Gee, thanks guys. First time they ever called back with results but I am not going to let that hang over my head all weekend. It will be what it will be.

Hope it's ok CJ. It certainly puts a damper on the weekend. Had theat happen a number of years ago when they called to say the doctor wanted me to come in to talk about a blood test and I said when would you like me to be there. They said in 3 weeks and gave me no other info.
