***Official November 2013***

Something is wrong with my IPhone and IPad . Every time that I use either one of them they immediately direct me to a Disney website. :confused3 any help would be greatly appreciated! Maybe I should just call Apple .;)

LOL!!! That's so funny because that's what my kids say about me and my computer and phone too!

I'm so excited - booked Nov 16th - 23rd this morning at POR. We were going to wait until February, but the cost savings with free dining sucked me in! I can't wait! Now to decide whether to surprise the kids or not :) Luckily I had already made dining reservations months ago when we first talked about going in November. :cool1:

Must be something with the internet because I don't have Apple products but experiencing the same issue. :rotfl2:

You all are on my gratitude list for being able to let me know I'm not alone.
 I wanted to do group hug but think it's hysterical that when I want an icon/smiley it's not in this easy column.

Yay! :cool1:
15th to the 23rd at POR for us! Just curious, what room type were you able to get?

81 Days today! I can't believe how close we're getting!

Anyone start shopping yet?? I got the kids a couple Disney shirts to wear. I never got a new bathing suit, so I guess I will buy something down there. Got them a new DVD for the ride, but so far that's about it. Still want to get them some games to play for the ride too. Still lots to do. I kept last years packing list, so it should make it easy this year, since not too much has changed. How about you guys?

I bought the kids a couple of tshirts, the autograph books, and Mickey Ear hats to wear when they were on sale. Also got my daughter a princess dress to wear to CRT. I just got them new backpacks to wear too. Im planning to fill them with fun things to do on the plane and give it to them the morning that we leave as a surprise. I need to stay off of the disney store website though or I'm going to be broke before we get there!:rolleyes1

Our first Disney Trip ever and first for our very excited 5 year old Cinderella is getting so close!!! November 8-16th!!!!! Everything just paid off!!!!

Should be a very awesome trip for your family, I remember both of my boys first trips and they were magical!!!!!!

Me too only 53 more days and all paid for too !! Has anyone else been to the "My Disney Experience" site and done their Magic Bands up - I was surprised when I went on yesterday and I could pick colors and get our names put on them - and it said it needed to be done by the 30th of Sept!! But it won't be sent to us - we live in Canada - told us they would be waiting at our resort for us!! Soooooo excited!!! :goodvibes

Undercover Tourist has Hollywood Studios at a 1 for crowds, easyWDW has it at a 7. We are planning on being there at rope drop, because my daughter wants to do Jedi Training, and will have a rental car for easy back and forth to CBR. I just don't want our first experience on our first day to be waiting in hour long lines. We have Mama Melrose ADR for 1 and fantasmic at 6:30. We'll do FP. My kids are kind of ride shy, so we probably won't be doing Tower of Terror or any other high/fast rides.

I have never put so much planning into one trip, we cruised for 10 years and pretty much always took a relaxing approach to vacations.

TP also says a 7. So, yes, that will be a crowded day in DHS. But all is not lost. That just means you need a good plan and reasonable expectations.

Getting there at rope drop will get you into Jedi. But how close you are to the front if the line determines what time. Getting into the first show will give you max flexibility the rest of the day. But that means getting there by at least 8:15 ( for a 9am start).

What else is on your plan? How are you planning to handle Toy Story Mania?

Also, how old are your kids? Are you set on Mama Melrose? (Honestly I never do table-service at DHS. There are so many shows at fixed times that the schedule is challenging enough.)

Finally, how late do you plan to stay in the park? If they add a second Fantasmic, could you do the later show?

Try not to stress. The reason you're planning now is so that everything will go smoothly on the other end. You have plenty of time to work it out. Think happy thoughts. remember - you're going to Disney World! :-)

I'm using crowd calendars too and we'll be in disney on the 10th of November. Mk ranks the lowest on 11/11 due to the mvmcp that night. Most people holding tickets for the party will most likely go to the other parks then head to mk around 4pm.

For the record - party days are my favorite days to go to MK. You can get more done with the low crowds than a regular day with longer hours. And we just go on another night to see ELP and Wishes. :-)

I bought pins for trading and an autograph book. We're wearing older shirts (except for the new ones from Old Navy I bought me and DD13). Oh, I have bought the tolietries, though....you know: deodorant, shampoo, etc. I still have to get the vinyl pouch for the KTTW cards (I don't like to put them in my wallet with my cash & credit cards).

Just made my last payment! 53 days left!:woohoo::yay:pixiedust:
whoo-hoo!!!!! :woohoo:

We're going to the dessert party on the 10th so we'll be all set for the fireworks. November 12&13 the parks open till 9 so most likely on Wednesday, we'll go to mk later in the day to see the elp.

Thanks for some positive news! The plan is to get there by 8. We are renting a car and are normally out of the house each morning dressed and feed by 7:15, so getting up and going early is not a problem. The kids are 8 and 5. We are kind of set with Mama Melrose because of the Fantasmic package. The only things that they are excited about are Jedi Training, Star Tours and Fantasmic - anything else will be a bonus to them.
The plan so far is for DH to take DD (8) to Jedi Training sign up, (per Google Earth it's 1/4 mile from the gate to the sign up, they have been running for weeks to build up speed), DS and I will go to Toy Mania for FP. There is only 1 Fantasmic show that day.
The kids do fairly well waiting on lines and we do have 2 nights at the end of the week, when we go to AK and BB that we could go back to HS and catch anything we've missed.
We are planning this first trip with the idea that we will definitely go back, most likely in 2018 when the Star Wars part of HS opens. :cheer2:
