In your opinion, what is the best breakfast on property? Please explain why and what your favorite food item is at said breakfast!

Kona Cafe - best coffee on property.

We like Kona a lot too! I think they have a great menu. I'm in the minority BC I don't do Tonga Toast (I don't like banana).

We also really like Tusker House. Great buffet selection. They have the usual-eggs, waffles, etc but also some different selections. And my kids love the juice they serve!

Captains Grill is good too. We stay at Beach Club a lot so it's convenient, typically don't need an ADR and its a decent buffet or a la carte menu.

BOMA. We go every trip. We were there a few days ago and it was better than ever. HUGE buffet with all the usuals (fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes (& chocolate chip), waffles, bacon, sausage, breakfast breads, etc) and carved to order ham and turkey with sauces, quinoa and oatmeal with toppings, omelet station, fresh fruit and a fabulous selection of breakfast pastries. Also many items unique to Boma/ African theme. My favorites are the scrambled eggs with goat cheese and spinach, African fruit salad and bread pudding with pecan sauce (better than O'hanas!!!). They also serve the famous "Jungle Juice" ... Orange/guava/passion mix (included in meal price).

This! Love, love, love the Boma breakfast buffet, especially the bolded parts! :cloud9:

Kouzzina. The Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast (poached eggs, kalamata olive toast, artichoke spread, sweet potato hash and a choice of bacon or chicken sausage) is the winning entrée, but the other dishes I've had there (like the French toast and the spinach, tomato and feta scrambled eggs) are also wonderful. They serve press pot coffee that I thought was pretty good, though admittedly I don't ever drink coffee and don't know what I'm talking about. And the best part of all is that is that the bloody Marys are the best on property.

Kona Cafe is our favorite. Their press pot coffee is the best on property, and they will even give you a to-go cup. My husband loves the Samoan, which is eggs benedict with pulled pork hash. I usually get the 2 eggs your way, but this last trip in June I tried the goat cheese omelet and I really liked it.

Another vote for Boma at AKL. We had breakfast everyday there. My husband especially loved the meat carving section. We stuffed ourselves silly. The "jungle juice" was delicious and I don't usually like juice.

Another vote for Kona. The other suggestions are better than average considering they are buffets, but IMO you just can't beat fresh food. Plus the macadamia nut pancakes and tonga toast are some of the best things to eat in all the world.

Trails End at Fort Wilderness Campground then you are missing one great breakfast buffet! It is the most affordable Disney buffet and has all the breakfast items you could want :) They even have mickey waffles and real thick sliced bacon and eggs benedict in a variety of offerings. We try to eat there once a month and are never disappointed!

Tusker House- love the selection
O'Hana -Tonga Toast
Garden Grove at the Swan - great buffet, relaxing atmosphere, fantastic egg station - eggs any way you want them.

'Ohana breakfast is family style and there is no Tonga Toast. Did you mean Kona?

'Ohana and Kona are our two favorite on property breakfast restaurants.

We agree, Trails End by far....

We eat in Disney no different than we do at home... normal food... normal breakfast fare..

Trails End buffet is the cheapest on property with all the normal dishes... Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon etc.... Better deal, better price, very pleasant atmosphere...

Boma for us too!!!!! We love everything there. I especially love the omlet station. We usually try to end our trip at Boma breakfast. Give it a try!!!!:)

Ditto for Kona ..... Love the Samoan

For a buffet , we love Tusker House. It is noisy and crowded but the food is a step above the normal breakfast fare on property, and there is excellent character interaction...

Fresh at the Dolphin. Eggs and omelets however you want them. Also, the fresh juice and granola parfaits.
