Can we discuss the meals that require 2 TS points?

Which are worth it, in your opinion, and which are not? What are the perks of the signature meals?

Obv. I've never been to WDW. :sad2:

TIA!!

We're going to use 2 credits on Narcoossee's (1st time there) because it seems worth it for the Surf & Turf, which we both plan to order. We are doing a couple of other 2 TS places but I"ll pay OOP for those. Basically, if the meal works out to be less than $45 or so, total, per adult, I'm going to pay OOP and save the 2 credits for 2 other meals. It seems like it pays off better for me that way.

The main difference in the signature restaurants is that the food is a higher quality(IMO) than the regular restaurants. I only eat in signature restaurants when I go to WDW and the only ones I haven't eaten in are Artist Point, Jiko and Monsieur Paul. All of them are worth the 2TS credits. Look at the menus on Allears.net to see which have foods you like. The menus I like the least are Fulton's and Flying Fish. They changed the menu at FF and I liked the previous menu.

Artists Point is well worth it for the experience as well as the food. I just booked us for our stay in November. :cool1:

I have never eaten at a signature restaurant before but on Sept 3 we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and decided to go to Narcoossee. We are going to have the surf and turf. I am hoping it is worth it :)

The ones that have the menu u like :)

I hope that doesn't come off as snarky. We had this same debate. I ended up showing DH all the menus and we decided based on which one appealed to all of us. i wanted Artist Point but it was too offbeat for DH. So we decided Narccoossee. It was verryyy good.

We usually get deluxe dining, so we always have extra credits to burn. When we stay at GF, we always order room service as you can order from any their signature restaurants, except for V&A, plus the gratuity is included in the 2 credits , so it's an extra bonus.

Signature restaurants that are great are Artist Point, Flying Fish, and California Grill.

We only ate at one 2TS credit restaurant during our trip and chose Narcoossee's. We both had the surf & turf and it was very well prepared. Absolutely delicious! We chose Narc's because my husband wanted lobster while we were there. The dessert was absolutely amazing, too!!! We were able to watch Wishes (I think it was Wishes) from our table which was great because we basically killed two birds with one stone. :) They play the music through the speakers during the fireworks and everything. The service was great and it was nice to go somewhere a little less noisy and more low-key during our trip. I don't know that I'd use 2TS credits on a restaurant again, though. We definitely could have enjoyed an extra TS meal over the CS choices...I didn't care for any of the CS options.

My DH prefers not to do the signatures (if on DP, he doesn't like to use 2 TS credits and if paying oop with TIW card, he doesn't like the cost), so we haven't done too many.

We did Coral Reef our 1st time on DP and eating at WDW. It was signature then and we really liked it.

We did Le Cellier a few times when it was NOT signature and feel it isn't worth the 2 credits, though it was one of our faves before it went signature.

Jiko is our fave signature...very worth it (especially if on deluxe DP, which we were when we went).

Artist Point and Brown Derby were huge disappointments to us and not worth the 2 TS credits (we are trying AP again at Xmas...SIL's fave...and paying OOP for it, so we'll see if we still feel the same about it).

The Hoop Dee Doo and the Luau are worth it for the adult drinks and pictures. The food is so-so but the entertainment is an added plus.

Breakfast at CRT was NOT NOT NOT worth the 2 TS credits...even with the pictures. But it was nice to try once when my twin DDs were little...but never again.

I am hoping to see wishes while we are at Narcoossee. We have an 8:15 ADR and wishes is at 9 :wizard:

If you go to Narccoossee and are a cheesecake fan - you MUST get the almond crusted cheesecake. One of the best I've ever had!!

Another vote for the almond cheesecake, it's soo good and light tasting despite it not being light lol

Hi there :)

I'm pretty obsessed with the dining plans. For 2 credits I would say narcoossee is a must! Our bill for 2 people last time came to $206. Knowing the meal plan covered it we enjoyed Maine lobster, crab cakes, etc. California grill is also good. Skip cinderella's royal table, Akershus princess dining in Norway in Epcot has all the princesses, pix included, and much better food! (For only 1 meal credit). I find buffets are really worth the credit. Eat all u want for 1 credit. Our favorites are boma and cape may cafe. Hope this helped :) check out my disney Instagram for more help! @disneyworldobsessed

But eating in Norway isn't the same experience as eating in Cinderella's Castle.

We love Jiko and absolutely feel it's worth the two credits. On the other hand we had a terrible meal with barely adequate service at The Brown Derby. Those are the two that stand out in my mind.
