Just had an email from our favorite server at Cali Grill letting us know that they will start taking reservations next Monday the 26th for dining starting on Sept 9th!!!

That's such amazing news!! I've been waiting for months for an ADR for my anniversary. Thanks so much for sharing :)

Whoop whoop can't wait it's our favourite last night restaurant, will be on it to make an ADR for our October trip :)

Thank you so much for the information :goodvibes. We have a favorite waiter too at CG that I was going to email to see if he knew of any information about when they will start taking reservations....I wonder if it is the same waiter :scratchin. We will be there in October, now I am going to have to look at our dining plans and see where we can fit it in.

I'm so looking forward to our next Vacation...this has been on my list for over a year, unfortunately they were closed for both our summer trips!!!

Lookout March, we finally get to try it!!

I have to say, the lighting fixtures are gorgeous! Did not see mary blair in the concept artwork, guess will have to dine there to see! ;)

What would be the best time for dinner in early February??

Would 8pm be good? We still want to see a great view while it's light out, while also being there a reasonable time to see the fireworks.

Can't wait to see the new menu!!!!!!:cheer2:

I have never been to the California grill but want to take my mom when we're there in November for her birthday. I want to confirm that even if you have dinner earlier in the evening you can come back and watch the fireworks. My kids are 7&8 so they won't be happy with eating there too late and the fireworks are scheduled at 9 o'clock that night. thank you!

I am looking forward to eating here for the first time in October. Is this a start off your vacation right kind of meal, or more of a wrap it up with a bang? I am thinking this is the perfect place to celebrate my DD18's 19th birthday. She loves good sushi. :thumbsup2

I don't think you are going to be able to plan a meal so that you have both a great view from the restaurant and see the fireworks in early February. 8 will be dark. We go in October and it is getting dark about 7:30 then. I think if you go for a daylight view it will be too early to hope for a fireworks view as well.

That has always been the rule -- i.e., you can dine early but return to watch fireworks later that same night -- so I cannot imagine they would change it under the refurb. We once opted for a fireworks-timed dinner and our kids fell asleep during dinner, but woke up in time for the fireworks. At least they were not loud and disruptive!
