Renting a car at Shades of Green

Has anyone ever done?

I'm assuming they have cars right on the property of Shades of Green?

You can only rent at SOG if you have military access to get onsite.

Hertz used to be onsite at SOG, and I believe still listed on the SOG website, but when I contacted Hertz after being unsuccessful at finding the location on their website to reserve a car, they stated they are no longer there and would try to get the info off of SOGs website. You might have to contact SOG and see if any other car company is there now. If you are just looking for transporatation to Sea World or Universal, SOG lists on their website that they have a shuttle service at fairly reasonable prices.

Alamo now has the car rental desk at Shades of Green.

Others on this board have reported that that is not the case. They just needed to show a picture ID at the security booth in order to go to the SOG car rental desk.
