How long do you think the waiting lists will be for each resort?

After just 2 weeks on the list my requested 100 June UY points for VWL came in! Yay!!! :)

I received my call on Wednesday. Paper work is on it's way for my 100 points at SSR with a September UY :cool1: :cheer2:.

We went on the list May 7th for two 50 point BCV points June use year. Just got the call today!!!!

Has anyone actually reached the 6 month waiting period? Is Disney offering any extension of the old price, or are people being told that they have to pay the new, higher price?[/QUOTE]

I think my guide told me that the price and any incentive is only good for 6 months.

My guide told me worse than that. He said at 6 months the waitlist will expire and I will have to start over. I understand holding the price for a set amount of time but I don't think it's fair to have to drop to the bottom of the list and start over again. I went on the waitlist mid-March. I called him a couple of weeks ago and asked him to add me a 2nd time so I won't be all the way at the bottom if the first one expires. If the first waitlist expires I may try the resale route. There isn't that much difference between current resale prices and the price for my waitlist. If I have to move to the next waitlist, there is a bigger gap. I'm waiting for VGC.

That's pretty unfair. Seems unnecessary to do that.

I specifically asked my guide that question and they told me that it will remain in effect until it comes through. I hope they were right.
