DVC Pool Hopping - Anywhere to wash up?

We're doing a week at SSR in August and I'm thinking of taking park breaks by pool hopping in the afternoons.

In order to save time (SSR seems sooooooooo far), do any of the resorts that allow pool hopping have day rooms where we can shower/rinse off in order to head back into the parks without taking the bus back to the hotel?

We will not have a car, and we've never pool hopped before. I'm thinking a short morning at MK and a fun afternoon at the Poly before grabbing dinner and heading back to the park. Need to shower without returning to SSR. Possible?

Thanks! :goodvibes

I know that OKW, BWV, PO-RS, and CBR all have showers/changing rooms; even at the quite pools.

At the poly, behind the waterfall just past the barefoot pool bar are restrooms. The women's room has some showers and changing rooms in the back there. I would guess the men's room does also. The GF also has these by the main pool too. SSR and OKW and Kidani do too (no pool hopping at Kidani but I still wanted to mention it).

Thank you for the info! I was going to ask the same thing, as I would like to pool hop a bit this September.

Just aheads up to follow the procedure as we were asked for ID at every pool this trip.

For the rest of the year, the blackout times are:
Aug 30-Sept 2
Nov 25-Dec 1
Dec 15-Jan 5.

Thanks everyone! Such great info :). I love that they're checking ID actually -- some of the earlier threads about random people using the pools had me sort of peeved.

We arrive on 8/25 so just in time to do a few days of pool hopping.

One last question-- does VWL allow pool hopping and does it have any showers in the pool bathrooms? Thanks!

I am pretty sure you can hop to WL and VWL. There are washrooms by the VWL pool next to the workout room but I can't remember if there are showers.

We want to try the new GF pool/water play area does anyone know if there are washrooms/showers there?

Thanks! Hoping someone would know about the showers at VWL or WL. :thumbsup2

Yes there are! The new Alice themed water play area is awesome! Next to it is a pool and bar. Opposite that is a building that houses restrooms. They have really nice changing areas and showers in there.

Excellent thank you.

argh-- we are going 8/31-9/4 and were going to spend much of the time pool hopping. Now it's looking like we can only do that the 3rd. Luckily we'll be staying at SSR for the first two nights, which has two feature pools, and then BWV 9/2-9/4 so theoretically we could make it work!

Quick hi-jacking because I have related pool/shower question.

We're staying 3 nights at Kidani, and on our last day our flight doesn't leave until the evening. We'll be checking out at 10, and might want to use the pool but obviously would prefer to shower before getting on ME/our flight back home. Where is the changing area/is there a shower in there at Kidani?

Thanks.

There is a building by the pool that houses the gym and changing rooms/restrooms in it. They are very nice. However, make sure you aren't cutting close as I have seen them get very crowded with large families getting ready to leave. Just make sure you have plenty of time in case!

Thanks! We definitely won't ... our flight leaves at six, so ME at 3p, we'd probably go to the pool from 10 to noon or so (if its warm enough, it being Thanksgiving and all, who knows), then shower/change, and try to grab some lunch before leaving for the airport.
