If anyone is interested, I received an email from Starwood about a !39.00 special at the Dolphin and Swan through September 30th. The code is "JULYEB".

We can't get to WDW this summer... our kitchen renovation will FINALLY begin next Tuesday.

But thanks so much for the info. I may pass it on to some friends.

Decent rate!

I assume it was $139. Don't forget to account for fees (parking, resort)

What are the additional fees? I call about this rate yesterday was told it had to be paid in advance , but no mention of fees?

Swan and Dolphin have daily resort and parking fees, though I'm not sure of the amounts.

Thanks, OP!

After a lot of hemming and hawing, I booked the $139/night rate this morning. I had a resort view booked at $179 but don't like doing pre-paid. The gentleman on the phone assured me that while the fee is non-refundable, if you weren't able to go for the dates that you booked, you could get a credit that would need to be used within a year of the date booked.

The resort fee is $17 per day plus taxes and parking is $15 per day.

Neither is available for our dates regardless of rate but I did love staying there in April, 2012 and would totally recommend it.

Thanks for the info!

katallo, thanks for posting the information. I also received the email, but wasn't sure if it was legit, because it didn't come from Starwood. Then I tried to enter the code online, but got invalid, and tried to call the number in the email but it just rings and rings.

Anyone had any luck with it? If so, how did you book? What is the "complmentary upgrade? I've got another resort already booked but might consider switching for a great deal. We've stayed at the Dolphin before and it was OK.

I was quoted a price of $139.00 but I need 2 rooms as there is 7 of us..
I am already book for Free dining...but am considering this too as I am not sure about the CBR.. thoughts?

My mom is looking to book here on a teacher rate for our next trip, but we can't seem to find the advantage. For when we are going the rate is $209 (plus tax)/night (January) plus the resort fee. Also, they would have to pay to get to and from the airport. Which puts them at more than a moderate and not much less than a deluxe. Is it the location that is the draw? I know you get disney transportation to the parks. Can you use EMH too? Thanks!!!
