HELP -- where can my family of 5 stay??

ok so since 2014 prices came out i was pricing different hotels for our trip. it will be me, hubby and 3 boys...who at the time will be 11, 7 and 2. i thought we could still sleep in a "4 person room" because the youngest is under 3...i guess this must be in correct? i tried AKL ... and it said no so where can we stay???? i know AOA...where else....HELP! thanks

I just plugged in your info out of curiosity and chose all resorts. Interestingly, a number of value and mods came up showing your party exceeds capacity (untrue based on how things have always been) and several mods say they have availability.

I would call. I'm not sure if you've had much experience with the new website since January, but it's been known to be incorrect and screwy often. Give a call and find out if there has been a policy change or if it's an IT problem not recognizing the age vs. the number of people.

POR has rooms that accommodate 5. We stay there all the time and love it!

I agree with the pp that I would call as the website has been known to have a lot of glitches. AKL is an option for you as a standard room does accommodate 4 + 1 under the age of the 3. With that said, you have a lot of options as any resort in any category will accommodate your family since your youngest isn't 3 yet. Good luck and happy planning .

Yes, you can still fit into a four person room while your youngest is under three. But, you will need to call to book it. It's one of those wonderful "enhancements" of the new web site that they haven't seemed to be able to fix yet.

I would just put 4 people when checking prices online and once you decide on a resort, I would call to make the ressie so they will have all 5 of you listed.
