Disney Dream October 27th, 2013

So far this is the list of participants that I have pieced together for FE:

Vent417 (rec'd all info thanks!)
Mrssmartypants
Mansion Mom
MEK
2 Princess 3 Princes

:welcome:

(Mrssmartypants, Mansion Mom & MEK, could you please PM me the particulars of your group as specified in the previous post.)

Once we get closer to the sail date, I will email everyone a spreadsheet list of participants with stateroom numbers.

I would like to suggest a cut off date of September 15th for adding any new participants.

Looking forward to an awesome cruise!!

Jodi

Thanks for organizing the FE. I'm in on this thread, but not sure we are up for the FE. We are flying in for a 9 day trip (first-ever cruise for kids, first time to WDW for all in the family but me).

Just getting all four of us there with the appropriate amount of socks and underwear may be all I can muster. :laundy:

Please continue to update as to how many are in the FE. If it's not a lot, maybe we will join.

I just looked today and we're only 142 days out. :cheer2:

No problem! Will do! :thumbs up:

Hi all!

My family and I are also on this cruise! Self, DH, DS17 and DS15 as well as my parents. We are going to celebrate my parents 50th anniv.! We booked it 2 yrs ago when we took them for their 48th, and this is what they wanted to do for their 50th.

I've waited until we got closer to the date to jump on the meet site to make sure we will be going. Dad has had some heart issues since then that made us wonder if they would make it but so far, so good. He is stubborn and determined to be on that ship.

Please count us in for the FE exchange. Both my immed family of four and my parents will have their own. I am going to have a special one made for them. My mom is excited after she saw all the pics and items we came home with. Even my teenage sons had a great time with it.

I will PM my info, with our rooms, names, etc...

Can't wait!

So excited to see more folks are actually on our ship. I was starting to worry LOL! It is myself, Husband, our 4 year old daughter and my mom and we are all interested in doing the FE. I will PM our info as requested. Thanks so much! we are really looking forward to it!:firefight The Chiefs Wife

We are coming in early the day before. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we can go other than a Disney Location. What about Sea World?

Sea World is a fantastic place to spend the day. You will not be disappointed!

My family and I are going on this cruise. We actually made the reservations in 2007, and kept having to postpone due to the economy...... We're all paid up, airfare is purchased, excursions are booked. We're going to renew passports today. I am unbelievably excited. Our last cruise was in 2005 aboard the Magic to Mexico during Disneyland's 50th Anniversary celebration. It'll be our first trip on the dream, our first to the Bahamas and the ever so magical Castaway Cay.

Since some of you are past cruisers to these areas, can you give me a little insight on the following excursions:

Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Swim
Jet Ski experience on Castaway Cay

I want to swim with the Dolphins, and there are a couple of options, this one seemed the most exciting. Any feedback would be great.

I should also mention, there are four of us - my husband, my not so little anymore kids (19 at the time of cruise) and me!

HAppy Sailing and let the countdown begin 118 until we cruise!!!!

Booked this cruise for my ds12 & myself. Husband & ds14 can't make this trip but we are going to have a great mom/son trip. We are doing MNSSHP on the 31st too!

Hello everyone...my dh will book our cruise this week. We are taking our 2 DSs and both sets of grandparents. They are both celebrating their 40th wedding anniversaries. I'm planning a private meal at Remy for us all.

I have a quick question for someone who is a gold castaway member. What is the date we can book excursions...I know it says 105 days prior but so I don't make a mistake could you tell the exact day?

Also would like suggestions on which beach villas are the best on Castaway cay...we plan to book one for our whole family to enjoy!

I know my family will participate in the FE. I need to ask the grandparents if they want to and then I'll PM the organizer!

Congratulations on your decision to book for 10/27.

When you book and get a summary of your cruise ,you will see on the website the date you can begin to book excursions providing your cruise is paid in full. It will give you the exact date. For Gold, 105 days is correct and just around the corner now.

It is highly likely you won't be able to book a Cabana on Castaway as the they will most likely be sold out to Platinum and Concierge guests who can book at 120 days out which has already passed. Call and put your name on a wait list as folks can, and do, cancel. Good luck.

Yes thank you...I was hoping someone could quote me the exact date for gold members....that will determine when we book! I'm crossing fingers for a cabana...as last year around this time they were still available at the 105 cut off!

We are first timers, and I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I know our 75 day window opens on August 13. It tells me that date when I log into the Disney Cruise Line website with our booking info. I bet if you do that, it will tell you what day you can start booking gold.

We are planning to be online at 11 PM Central time on August 12th to get as early port arrival time as possible. It's my understanding the window opens at Midnight Eastern time.

The thing is I haven't booked the cruise yet...was wanting to wait o book as close as possible to the gold member booking day....I ended up calling reservations and they said July 14 is the day. We are booking today!!!

2 princess 3 princes- I just sent my FE info to you so if you don't see it for any reason please let me know.

Last time we sailed we had about 25 rooms for the FE. It took a separate BIG suitcase for the gifts we brought, my DH wants my to pick a different item this time!

Can't wait for the 100 day count down to start!

Does anyone know the specifics of itinerary C? I asked on the main thread and on the meet thread but so far only been told that pirate night is the 3rd night. Anyone know about the other nights for which shows and dress up?

I saw this on my reservation page on the Disney site....is this itinerary C???? And does that mean the fireworks AND pirate night will be on night 3/Nassau night? Where did you hear the fireworks would be night 3 instead of the last night as usual???

Day Port Ashore Onboard
1 Port Canaveral, Florida 3:45 p.m.
2 At Sea
3 Nassau 9:30 a.m. 5:45 p.m.
4 Castaway Cay 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
5 Port Canaveral, Florida 7:30 a.m.

I'm sooo mad right now....my husband booked our cruise thru united to earn some miles....thus I had to call disney to get my cataway membership added to our reservation...called...added it....no problem!

then I signed into Disney site tonight at 11:45pm in order to sign up for excursions right at midnight...and saw that some how my castaway number was taken off my reservations thus not allowing me to book excursions at the 105 day marker!!!!!

and what's worse customer service doesn't open til 8:00am!!!!!!!!!

If I miss booking a cabana because of this error on Disney's part....I'm gonna be soooo mad!!!!!!!
