We have currently sorted all of our reservations for TS meals and know when we will need our QS meals! The problem we have is that we have 4 QS left over as we don't eat lunch really when we are there - being from Britain the heat severely kills our appetite...anyway...would you be able to use a QS credit to buy a snack item...I was thinking some treat that I could bring home with me! Not the best use I know...but oh well! x

The ability to do this seems to be hit or miss these days. Your best bet will be at your resort QS or gift shop. Make sure you ask before you gather your items to be sure of what you can/cannot get for those QS credits.

You could also use them for breakfast or maybe grab a sandwich to take with you when you leave.

We have already planned them for breakfast! We aren't able to use them all because of the days we are going to SW, US, IoA and DC, where we will either be eating dinner or breakfast there! We are just hoping we are able to use them all! Especially seeing as we have 14 snack credits to use aswell! :S

On our most recent stay (Feb '13), we ended up using our QS *and* snack credits to buy some snacks that we then ate on the day we were leaving.

The QS credits are a little more difficult to use up. You can try to use those in lieu of the snack credits. For example, I tended to use QS credits towards beverages, to keep us hydrated while at the parks. If it was "breakfast" credit, I'd just get a drink and skip the entree portion. If it was lunch/dinner, I'd get a drink and maybe dessert (ice cream cone) and skip the entree portion. That way, you're not using snack credits on the beverages nor the ice cream, and those snack credits can be used to purchase a non-perishable.
It just kind of steers you towards different food vendors, if you're trying to substitute using a QS credit for a Snack credit.

Then any leftover snack credits are good for those cute Mickey chocolates or rice krispie treats, for example. That latter are nice to have on the plane and travel better than the chocolates. :)

Do I make any sense? I hope so!

We use alot of our snack credits to bring treats home for friends. Bags of pop corn , suckers, rice crispy mickey heads...etc!
