All of the longhouses have some rooms that are connecting but I don't believe any of them will have 3 connected together.(someone please correct me if I am wrong on this) You could have 2 connecting with the third adjoining HOWEVER it is not a guarantee. Your best bet would be booking TPV and requesting Tuvalu 3rd floor (or first floor if you prefer a patio). Tuvalu is a small longhouse so even if you aren't next door to your party, it is a short hallway so merely a few steps away for visiting.

Thank you so much! I realize it's highly unlikely that there'd be 3 connecting rooms (I don't think any Disney resorts have that?) but I appreciate your tip about Tuvalu. It really wouldn't be an issue if they weren't connecting and were just nearby :) You all are so helpful on here! Thanks again!

The suites are in Tonga. There was a recent update so I'm guessing that's the difference in the photos. They are club level.

Debating split stay of poly gv and CR TPV. However, if free dining is a better deal we would have to do one resort only so I am thinking of doing TPV at the poly as I cannot imagine not staying there for some of our trip :) one two night stay and we were hooked!

What are people's opinions of TPV at the poly? Worth it or not? We have three princesses who love seeing the castle from the pool at the poly!

It's very magical if you can afford it. We've stayed there twice, although once was before the TPV designation came about, but both rooms had a view of the castle and I really loved it.

TPV CL was the most magical trip to WDW! best view on property!!! Watched wishes from balcony amazing views of castle & MK resorts!!!

When I stay there I say I sleep with my eyes open. I can't stand to go to sleep with that beautiful view just out the window.

Princess Katherine. W are contemplating exact same stay as you without club level! Have you stayed at both resorts before?

No we have not. What a coincidence! If it does work out for you let me know! We could have a DISmeet!

Katie

We have stayed at the poly before and loved it!~! I am sure you will have a great time!!! Can you let me know what you think when you get back?? we are planning that trip for next year!

Which has a better TPV poly or cr?

None say Poly b/c your looking across 7 seas lagoon & you'll see GF & MK & CR

At CR you have a magnificent night time view but during the day you see alot of parking lot! Lol

Can anyone tell me what longhouses have both standard refurbished rooms and have automatic outside doors? Use an ECV and would like to get around by myself. thank you

Rarotonga does. We stayed there in May.

I am contemplating split stay next trip for poly/cr. seeing as you have done both. is it worth it?? we loved the poly this year so want to go back but also want to try tpv at cr.

any help would be appreciated!

We had a ninth floor tpv room at CR last year. The lake fireworks were straight out in front of us, and then we had to look to the right to see the fireworks over MK. We were very close to the fireworks there, but I think the overall view was better at Poly, even though we were farther away from the fireworks. I would recommend either one as a good choice.

One thing at CR is that you don't have to worry that people will stand outside your room and block your view.

I think that all of the longhouses now have automatic doors. Since you will have an ECV, I would suggest requesting first floor Rorotonga, Samoa, Tokelau, Rapa Nui or Tahiti. Reason?? Because all have standard garden views and all are central between GCH, pools, bus stop and TTC. Also, if memory serves me correctly, the exit from the GCH toward Tonga, Aotearoa and Fiji would be a pain in the rear for an ECV because it has a long and winding ramp. The exit on the other side is just an easy straight out to sidewalks....I hope that makes sense.

ETA: Tahiti and Rapa Nui have not yet been rehabbed so Rorotonga, Samoa, and Tokelau are your best bets.

thank you Lita and Grace&Carolinesmom for your help in finding a longhouse that has refurbished rooms and automatic door entry.

We are trying Poly CL for the first time in December and I was just going to book GV CL, but this is making me consider TPV CL :scratchin.

I think this would be an awesome view from the room :thumbsup2. I love looking out across seven seas lagoon. Having stayed GF RPC, my favorite view from the room is overlooking the beach pool with the Poly in the distance :cloud9:......but now with DVC, most of that view is gone :(.

45 days!!!!

How exciting :yay:.
