T minus 41 days and counting!!! Hi everyone, Happy 4th of July and welcome to my pre-trip report!

I'm anxiously awaiting my 14th trip down to Disney World and this trip will be completely SOLO. Yup you read that right I will be completely by myself but no fear I'm a solo veteran. I've been traveling solo since I was 19 due to the fact that my friends and family aren't into the Disney "thing". Totally fine by me. I've never had a problem being in the company of myself, actually I'm quite independent. There is something so freeing about traveling by yourself, I suggest you try it at least once. Anyway before I go any further let me introduce myself...

I'm Cheryl, a 26 year old who loves all things Disney. I've been hooked on Disney World ever since I was young. My first trip was when I was 5 and the magic was instilled in me.

In my Disney traveling career (yes I will call it a career lol) I've been 13 times so far. With family, with my high school choir performing at Epcot and solo. I've gone during peek times and slow times, Halloween and Christmas. I've been to MNSSHP, MVMCP and the Pirate and Princess party when they had that in 08. I've also been lucky enough to go on two Disney cruises. I consider myself very blessed to have been able to go as much as I have and I realize that someday I may not be so lucky. That's why when I do go I try and do as much as possible and live each moment as it comes. I would much rather save my money for a vacation/experience than buy material things. Also As much as I love traveling solo I'm still hoping I will meet my prince charming and he will sweet me off my feet at the Most magical place on earth. I can dream right?! But enough of that moving on.

When it comes to favorites it's hard to have just one. I can never give a definitive answer. My favorite parks would be The Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Favorite rides would be Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spaceship Earth and Space Mt. Characters would be Tink, Belle, Carl Fredricson and Boo. See what I mean...I can't just pick one favorite there is something different about them all that I just love. I'm not a mother but I would say it's like picking a favorite kid...you just can't do it!

How this trip came about was truly just having WDW withdrawal. My last trip was November of 2011 and in January of 2012 I went back to school making it hard for me to go whenever I want. Obviously education is important and sadly somethings come above Disney. So when I received a pincode in December for use this summer I knew I had to jump on it. I know that summers are packed, humid, sweaty but I don't care because it's Disney! I called Disney and booked a package with QSDP. Usually I only book a room and not a package but I figured I would go with the convenience this trip. I like the idea of everything paid before I go. Now I booked this back in December and it's been a lonnnnnnnng wait till now. I originally booked the 15-22 of august and well I decided to just add one more day.

So here are the details of my trip...

August 14-22 Wed-Thur

Pop Century with QSDP

8 Day Park hopper

Now I'm getting anxious and I just want August to be here. Stick with me I promise this will be exciting!!!:yay:

So yesterday I went to my local Disney store outlet and they have this Disneyland corner where it's all stuff from the Disneyland park. Well sometimes you can find items that are Disney parks authentic that don't have the Disneyland logo. So as I'm looking in the corner this older woman comes over to me and starts chit chatting with me. I tell her that I'm going to Disney World next month and she instantly gets all excited for me. We talked about the parks and how much we both love them. She was so sweet. As I was looking through the rounders of shirts the woman then told me that everything that had a red sticker was an additional 30%off! Wanna know the best part? This whole Disneyland corner has red stickers!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

I ended up getting this cute mickey tank since it's gonna be blazing hot down there next month.

Then I found this Disneyland drawstring bag. I'm not going to use it when I go (I have my tried and true Bagalinni) but it's good for day trips at home.

For the two of them if I paid park price would have been $46.90+ tax. But I ended up paying $11.88!!!!!:thumbsup2

These next 37 days are going to go by soooo slow for me. I'm patiently awaiting my Mickey mail with all my package info that's how I know the trip is getting close!

Stay tuned...up next Plans plans plans!

Awesome finds! Love the tank top. Wish we had a Disney store outlet nearby! We only have 1 actual store anywhere near us and its about 45 mins away. :( I was up there a few weeks ago to find things for a baby shower but I ended up doing better buying online. Oh well!

Yay for trip plans!

Aw man that stinks that you don't have an outlet near by or even another Disney store that's closer. I'm very lucky that I have two Disney stores with in 30 minutes and the Disney outlet is only 15 minutes away from my house. Luckily Disney store has the .com! :cool1:

32 Days to go! and my Mickey mail arrived yesterday!

:hyper::hyper::hyper:
I opened the cute Disney envelope and inside was my Magical express luggage tags, Mickey luggage tags and a book explaining my package. It also includes coupons for mini golf, Disneyquest, Planet Hollywood and a few others. I was excited to see that envelope in the mailbox, that's when you know your trip is REALLY close. :thumbsup2

Ok so I sat down with all the park hours yesterday and I was going to make a game plan for the trip. You know planning out every day as to which parks I would hit. I always do this and you know what? I decided this time I'm going to go without a plan. I know August is crazy busy but I'm the kind of person who will be at the parks for opening maybe go back for a rest and then be at parks till close. I think this will make for a relaxing trip. I did come up with a list of some must do's though so here's my list...

-Check out the New Fantasyland
-Lunch at Be Our Guest restaurant
-Take a walk on the Boardwalk
-See Voyage of the Little Mermaid (Never seen it before!)
-See Fantasmic (It's been years)
-Ride Spaceship earth a few times before it closes on 8.18
-Disneyquest
-Just relax and enjoy the Magic :wizard:

Do you guys have any favorites or must do's I should add?!
