What are the dress codes at the AKL restaurants

We have ADRs for all 3 restaurants at the AKL - Sanaa and Boma with the kids and then an adult night at Jiko. I'm starting the sort out my "what do I need to pack" and thinking of these dinners, I'm wondering if I need more than shorts and tanks / t's. We've never stayed or even been to AKL so all 3 of these restaurant experiences are new to me.

You can wear what you would at the parks to Sanaa and Boma. They're casual, although Sanaa has a more formal, intimate feeling. I still wore what I wore to the parks that day as did every other guest I saw there the evening we were there.

Since Jiko is a signature restaurant, you're not allowed to wear a tank top, so you'll need to plan accordingly for that meal.

The dress code is listed on Disney's site regarding signature restaurants from the link about the dining plan. It states: Not permitted in the dining room: tank tops, hats for gentlemen, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, torn clothing of any kind, cut-offs, or t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.

We've not tried Jiko, but have Sanaa and Boma. We loved them! Have a fun trip!

This. We spent 2 weeks at AKL and saw lots of people at Boma in casual clothes. The night we did Jiko we dressed a little nicer but we saw some people in tshirts and shorts there.

We eat at Jiko every time we go to WDW -- we were just there at the beginning of last month. Most people at Jiko dress "business casual" -- my DH wore khaki pants and a polo shirt that has been ironed, I wore a knee-length skirt and a jewel-neck top, and our DS (15) wore khaki cargo shorts (so, longer and more dressy than sport shorts) and also a polo shirt (both guys did wear sneakers and I wore sandals). Personally while we may have been able to "get away with" less than that, we wouldn't have felt comfortable (and there were certainly people much more dressed up than that).

Would a sundress be okay if it had "tank top" like sleeves for Jiko?? My sundresses are all "sleeveless". I don't want to buy new clothes for one dinner. Would capri's and a blouse work?

What about Docker's shorts and a collared shirt for my husband? Or should I bring a pair of long pants for him?

I've seen people in wet bathing suits with a towel wrapped around them at Boma so..... I wouldn't stress about dress code too much

Docker shorts are fine. And that tank top thing is directed mostly for men.

A sundress with "tank top" sleeves will be just fine.

I'v always worn a cute tank top and kakhi/colored shorts to the signature rest. And no one has ever said anything. I've also never felt out of place. I've seen many other woman in tank tops or sleeveless sundresses so you'll be fine
