Nice!!! I am happy to be less than a month. We will probably just hang around the hotel because my DH doesn't have a pass.

Lovely! To be honest so much to do at hotel and such a lovely place why not! We almost felt torn some days going away from it!

we were there June 9th - 14th and because we go so ofter (AP's) we decided to enjoy the hotel more..this was our pool day. 9am till 5 pm parked by the pool!!!

Ohhhhh how lovely what a great idea! Things that make you go yum. That pool... Head first no regrets lol....

Back from a 3 resort, 3 week stay...and hands down, AKL was the fave! From the people, to the activities, to the food, to the pool....wow...just amazing!!

I hope to have the chance to stay there again, but as a family of 5, that's hard. If the kids and I go solo again...you bet they will say AKLall the way!

It's the best. Hope you get to make it back!

Hi everyone! I need some help with a couple of questions and hope the AKL experts can help me out!

We are going to AKL in late July--our first AKL stay (although we visit every time--love Boma!) and our first ever CL stay!

1. We are doing the Sunrise Safari on July 25. Is breakfast at Pizzafari or Restarauntasaurus afterwards?

2. How long does the safar and breakfast take? Just trying to gauge how soon we could be IN the park!

3. We apparently have the option for online checkin for CL but I thought I read that you shouldn't bother. Thoughts?

4. Do we checkin at the front desk at AKL or is there somewhere else we go at CL guests?

2. A couple of hours
3. no reason not too, you can always check everything and ask for changes after you get there.
4. They will meet you outside, if you are coming ME, if you are driving, just let the greeter know you are staying CL and someone will meet you and take you upstairs.

I want to say we took 2.5 hours maybe 3 for the whole thing... the Safari might have been 90 minutes, but there is a waiting period at the lodge, then a bus ride out there, then the safari, then a walk to the restaurant. Then time to eat. It was a couple of hours, 3 more likely, but it really depends on how much you are asking questions and the animals, the guides, everything plays into the time frame.

Yes it is a buffet, I have picture in my TR, look in my siggie, for the one saying Safari...

I'm full of questions today...I'm doing our online checkin for AKL standard CL. Are there any recommendations for room requests? I normally research this sort of thing to death, but this was a "kind of" last minute trip booked for our vacation during my husband's R&R from his deployment!

I would request savannah view, unless you want a pool view, then ask for pool view.
