For those recently through ROFR process, Just wondering how Fidelity notified you that you had been waived through ROFR or that Disney bought your contract. Was it by email from Evy and legal dept or Sharon/Shawn or was it by phone?

I received an email from Sharon on day 28 that Disney took back our contract. Most of our contact has been via email. Though a couple phone calls here and there.

I received emails from Sharon.

For a recent ROFR, I received an email Wednesday morning.

For a recent pass ROFR, I received an email Thursday morning.

I received an email from Shawn that Disney had taken the contract. While working with Sharon on day 29 I called her just to check since I had seen an identical contract that was taken a few days before (both were sent around the same time) and got the response "oh wait yea I do see that Disney took your contract also"

I e-mailed Sharon and asked after I read on this board that other contracts that went to Disney the same day as mine had passed ROFR. I got an e-mail from her 15 minutes later telling me that she wouldn't hear on my contract for another week. About 30 minutes after that I got another e-mail from Sharon telling me that my contract had passed.

It depend, I called and enquire about status on exact time so I am not bothering any one. I do get either e-mail to confirm or phone call. Usually e-mail to confirm.

we received a quick email from Shawn our broker and then a day or two later an official GOOD NEWS Disney has waved their ROFR type thing

Good Luck

Do you think they even email or call you when they find out about the results of ROFR.. or do you think they drag their feet?? I am on day 25 and feel like I am watching paint dry... I just worry if they will make me wait an extra week because they are rather slow with responses!

Disney can take up to 30 days and beyond with some addendum.

I emailed to check in on my ROFR status a couple times that last week.

Does anyone know if First American mails or emails the closing docs?? Do they really take 2 weeks to come in?!

We had ours emailed, then we mailed them back with our check.

We received notice that we passed ROFR on 3/21, but received the email containing the closing documents on 4/5.

Hope this information helps. :thumbsup2

When I bought last year, the default for FAT was to snail mail the closing docs. You could get them emailed if you made that request.

We just faxed our closing documents to FAT and they had emailed them to us, we didn't request that they just emailed them......... I would think that would be cheaper for them in the long run snail mail cost money.
