Sorry the picture was so big. Anyway, has anyone done/heard of/thought about doing the hidden mickey's on the ship?

Hah! Yes I see that. I've been lurking these boards for (literally) years but never actually signed up. For my last cruise I got tons of tips and tricks from here and another few forums. You'll see I'm a lot more active on FB since I'm on there regularly.

We're heading in from Harrisburg area in PA and driving down. My inlaws have a house in Orlando so we're staying there the day before and the week after the cruise. As I said before we have 4 kids. The acronym designations this board uses escapes me so I'll put it in English: 9 year old boy, 7 year old girl, 6 year old girl and 2 (almost 3) year old girl.

It took me years to talk my wife into going on a cruise as she has anxiety issues with small boats. Had to convince her that a ship isn't going to be nearly as bumpy as a boat which is why we took the 3 day cruise. Now we're both hooked although I'm quite a bit more obsessed with planning and organizing the trip than she is. She just goes along for the ride

We are going to look for the hidden mickeys! I got a book online.

Sweet pottstown is like 2 hours from us. I was told that you can get a free hidden Mickey guide at GS on the boat but I'm not sure about that. I'd be interested to hear what your book has to say!

I did read that after I got the book. It also has some hints in it.

Another fun fact about the carpet (among other places on the ships). The nautical flags actually spell words. We got a "decoder" on our DVC Member Cruise back in January. We had a blast going around and "reading" things on the ship, including the carpet!

I had heard that too but couldn't find a decoder. Where did you get the flag decoder? I'd love to try it out.

Sorry if you mentioned it before but do you have a date that you're closing the FE exchange signup? We may be doing it but also we have a set of friends who are probably going to sign up for the same cruise/date and might want to do this as well.

My understanding is that it closes out two months before to give everyone time to make/get gifts.

Correct.... Lets do July 27th (I'm out of town the following weekend). I will email out the list the 28th and before you go full head on making FE gifts give it a few more days because I may have made some mistakes that will get fixed and a new email with updated list will be in it. I will post here and on FB when I have sent the email. Hope this clears up some confusion

According to Cruisefish.net. 77% of our cruise is open. I am hoping that they start offering discount, OBC or kids sale FREE! What are your thoughts?
