OP of this poll here. This is basically a trending poll so that you can quickly look at the graph and tell approximately what month the odds are that you might miss CC.

I been to cc twice both in march... March of 2011 and march 2012.... March 2011 was 2nd week in march and 2012 was first week... Although I think it took tem a couple tries last time we went?? They were at it quite awhile

Glad you brought this back to life... not sure how many have missed Castaway lately. But I know there has been a lot of nasty weather.

Our 4 day on the Dream it rained half our Nassau day was overcast on our Castaway day and then rained our sea day. We had the tail end of hurricane Irene. So if you go during hurricane season, you may get more rain than normal.

I've been reading all of the posts lately stating that they couldn't make it to Castaway Cay and I didn't realize how frequently it happened! We cruise 2 weeks from this coming Sunday, so I pray that we get to visit CC. We had the best time on our first (only) Disney Cruise--we actually got to hang out and meet a family that was similar in age to use and our kids were similar in ages and genders. Made for the perfect beach day! Of course that was on the Fantasy, so I'm hoping that we make connections on the Magic much faster. We'll see! Thanks for posting the poll--never saw it last time.

Ahhh. I hope that 1st week of December is good for CC!

Like a PP, I didn't vote because we ended up actually making it. October 2014 the captain tried 2-3 times and couldn't dock. Then we pulled out into the water and waited for about an hour. He tried again...no luck....the Captain came over the speaker and said he was discouraged but would try once again.... On his final attempt, he was able to dock! Because it was late morning, they said that lunch would not be provided on CC. It was a little chilly on CC, and too cold for me over on SB side, so we hung out on the family beach - DH snorkeled, but the water was a bit too chilly for me as well. We didn't have any excursions planned, but I understand that most excursions were cancelled that day.

We were able to dock at CC 2/18 but we had such cold, rainy weather that everyone ended back on the ship before noon.
