So I can't stand Disney website and i'm sure i'm not the only one..

I signed on yesterday for the first time since i booked my upcoming vacation months ago. when i booked my vacation i had my reservations linked to at the time what was "my vacations" (Which took about 117 try's for them to link and stick :) ). So when i signed on Yesterday to make a payment, it said i needed to help them link my booking to the new website...ok fine lets make this try number 118.. i hit next. They already have all of my info pre-filled correctly.. i thought this was great they updated the website and its working!!! I hit next and it tells me my reservations don't exist.. oh well spoke to soon! so i tried a few times, singed out, signed in, signed out went out came home tried again still nothing.. SO i called Disney they couldn't help me... they bounced me around. They could see my booking info and didn't know why the online system couldn't find me. i was on the phone for a good 10+ minutes.. ended up telling them i had to call back because i didn't think it would take that long and my son woke from his nap a bit earlier then expected and needed me. SO now i want to call back and get some help today.. DH is home i have allll night:goodvibes

Anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any advise on what department to speak with, what to say specifically OR what i can do myself to link them? i just want to be able to manage my reservations online whenever with out having to call everytime i want to make a payment OR just view them. Any Help would be great! Thanks in advance.

I was having a problem yesterday with getting my dinner reservations linked. I kept getting errors. It was my first time ever trying so I'm not sure if it is a constant problem or one that was just happening yesterday. Haven't tried again since.

You can try going to the old Disney website to see your reservations. Mine were always listed there. You can reach the old website by going to My Disney Experience and then clicking on the customized maps link. It will take you to the old website. Click on the option called My Reservations and hopefully they are all there.

When we went to WDW earlier this month, all of my reservations were on the old website. Some of my dinner reservations would not link to the new My Desney Experience site. When we showed up at the restaurants, they had the reservation on the list, although a few of them were under my daughter;s name for some reason.

Bottom line is, if Disney says they can see your reservation, and if you are able to see your reservation on the old website, then I wouldn't worry about a crazy, glitchy My Disney Experience website that no one seems to be able to fix.

You can make your payment online from the old website, too.

On the My Disney Experience website, there is a pull down menu in the top, right corner. Everything listed under the "My Reservations" tab shows up fine for me (except as noted in the post above, one of the reservations is under my daughter's name for some unknown reason), however under the "My Disney Experience" tab there are many errors and items missing. The tech support number is 407-939-7765. The gentleman was very nice and friendly however was not helpful whatsoever and couldn't solve any of the page problems.

I found the site hard to access. I had to install two plugins to block the tracking cookies, and use a proxy plugin with a US proxy. with the combination of the two, I have had no trouble since. There have been some parts down for maintenance, like the wishlist, but other than that, my planning is back on track. I'm happy again!

OK here is my problem. I tried to link my reservation with my sons and his girlfriends. It said I had to pick someone to be the primary and it wouldn't let me pick her, so i picked me.

Well now she is not even on the reservation on the website and i don't see any way to correct it without having to call them.

Why is it so hard and confusing?

Anybody have a remedy to my problem without having to call?

I hate to get on the phone and if that's the only remedy well I just won't use the My Disney Experience website.

Thank you very much. I was afraid of that.

I just tried to make reservations for MVMCP and entered all the info and credit card info hit submit and it just kept spinning and spinning for about 5 minutes so now i don't know if it went through or not.

Their website has really gone downhill lately.

The website has never been particularly good, but it's atrocious now. :sad2: You should call. Ask them to get the reservation stuff corrected, and then check on the Christmas Party payment. The phone CM's are well aware of the troubled website. I've found most of them to be pretty helpful.

OK I will give them a call tomorrow.

Thanks again

Remember to tell them the website sucks and isn't what you expect out of Disney and that CM are the bestest ever!

blah blah blah right my sister is IT tech and it makes her crazy haha

I had a lot of issues when my ADR time came around, but I actually had your same problem with the OLD site. Wouldn't recognize my reservation. The new site linked my reservation, but wasn't allowing the +10.

Other tips I have seen is that you can try to clear out the cookies/history on your browser, or try using a different browser like an updated IE, Chrome, Safari, etc. I've had the best luck with Google Chrome.
