There is a current free dining PIN code (sent to specific people) out covering check in dates of October 1-2 and 18-31. The hope is that the dates will be offered to the public later this summer, likely July. Check your email for a PIN from Disney Destinations. Good luck!

Ack - I did get a pin code recently but not that far out. I'm hoping to book a trip for the end of October for F&W and MNSSHP - would be perfect!

Thank you for the update. We are also doing a F&W / MNSSHP trip and free dining would be so helpful. I'd probably end up spending the savings on souvenirs ....but ..... still helpful

I just got a pin in the mail today with dates all the way until dec 2013. Select dates every month Aug,sept,oct,nov and Dec. looks like we're planning another trip to Disney!!!! Whoohoo

The only active room discount PIN is for dates from late April- mid-August.

What are pins? I've read about people getting PIN numbers in the mail or email but how do you get it? I'm new to Disney and we are taking our first trip in September. I have a feeling after our trip I'm going to want to know about as many discounts as possible bc I know we are hoing to want to go back ASAP!!!!!

PINs are a string of 15 digits that are mailed to specific guests for a specific booking timeframe. They are nontransferable. There is no known pattern as to who gets them and who doesn't. It is random as far as anyone knows. The only thing required to be eligible to receive one is having a Disney account. If you have that, you have just as much of a chance as anyone.

2nd week in October is slim chance, as that is Columbus day week, and they usually don't offer free dining that week.

And, the Gartner Conference is the 6-10th of Oct so they will have little problem filling rooms.

Thank you! Hoping we can pull it off and get to go at Halloween time. We're going on a few other vacations this summer and have Disney cruise booked for Jan 2014 so if we do get to use our pin we may have to drive to cut down on cost
