Funny Disney Stories

Ok, so my boyfriend and I laugh constantly about some of our funny memories whilst at Disney.
One of them is whilst at Blizzard Beach. We were in a queue for toboggan racers having bets on who would win in our race (we are a competitive couple) He was positive he would win as he is heavier. So its our turn and if anyone has been on this slide you start on your knees and then when the man tells you, you go on your belly and then he will say 3,2,1, go, pretty standard. However, my boyfriends competitive streak got the better of him and he just slid down. He looked back so embarrassed. The other people were moaning and when he eventually got to the bottom he stood up, waved (no one waved back) and they had to restart the ride.

What are your funny memories?

I think our "funniest" Disney story was from our first trip when I was ten and they sold invisible dog leads in the park. My parents bought me one and we were walking along with it and one of the CM's came over and said to me sorry but we don't allow dogs in the park so I'll have to ask you to leave. I was a little gullible as a child and thought he was serious and was panicking thinking I'd had to leave but my parents would have to stay in the park but then the CM took the dog lead and held it up in the air and said if I walked around with it like that I could stay because they have no rules about invisible giraffes being in the park :rotfl: I still remember that even though sooooooooo long has passed since then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

not so much a disney memory but at Kennedy space centre a few years ago while we were going through bag search. We got a really miserable woman and they went through my bag 1st and turfed everything out with not a word.
DH was behind me and again, not so much as a hello.. but when she made him turn on the camera (assume to prove it was a camera) the picture on the view screen was a really close up shot of just his face with a stupid smile! She actually jumped when the camera came on with that on the screen :rotfl: and even managed a little laugh. He had been taking upside down pictures of his own face with the camera the night before! :lmao:

Two funny moments stick in my memory both created by cast members.

1. In the Carousel of Progress the CM who was welcoming the audience told us that this was the greatest 3-D attraction and if we would just look under our seats for the special glasses ... and most people did just that!

2. The safety announcement on one parking lot tram went along the lines of, "For your own safety please remain seated while the vehicle is in motion, please seat children towards the centre , keep arms and legs inside the tram, don't run with scissors and don't put chewing gum in your sister's hair."

It was years ago but we still mutter "don't run with scissors ..." whenever we hear any safety announcement.

Not a Disney story but a Universal Studios one. We were sat waiting for Shrek 4D to begin, DBF had never seen it before but I had explained to him that the seats move. The lights went out and I whispered to him, 'have you put your seat belt on?' :rotfl: I've never seen his hands move so quick.

I'm so cruel :lmao:
