OK, I'm back!

I'm torn as to where we should eat one night and thought my Disney BFF's might be willing to help. Here are my options...

A. Tutto Italia
B. Via Napoli
C. Couzzina
D. Pay OOP for our 50's Prime Time dinner (or forget about it all together) and eat at Yachtsman Steakhouse
E. Pay OOP for our 50's Prime Time dinner (or forget about it all togeither) and do the Spirit of Aloha show

We already have ADR's at Cape May, BOG, Biergarten, 50's PT, Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana and Liberty Tree Tavern plus we are staying CL and are doing the DDP.

Hi...Lurker Here. I find it my duty to come out of lurking and give my opinion about the Spirit of Aloha Show. My daughter and I LOVE disney and have spent 9 wonderful trips there. The one huge disappoint for us has been the Aloha Show. It was a waste of time and money for us. Just my opinion.

Hi...Lurker Here. I find it my duty to come out of lurking and give my opinion about the Spirit of Aloha Show. My daughter and I LOVE disney and have spent 9 wonderful trips there. The one huge disappoint for us has been the Aloha Show. It was a waste of time and money for us. Just my opinion.

I agree. I think the Spirit of Aloha Show is a waste of money. Now Hoop is another story. Love it and the food!!

Doing the happy dance with you! Four weeks from today we will be at BC.

I would pick Tutto Italia - that's definitely one of our favorites and also a "must do". Hate to say it but we were somewhat disappointed in Yachtsman's last year and we did Spirit of Aloha once (never again). Via Napoli is good too - we usually just get pizza though and would pay OOP for that one.

I just got back Thursday from my trip with my 60 yr old aunt who has never been to Disney, it was so cool to see her reaction to all that Disney has to offer. We stayed at Pop, and had a great time.

Now for the BIG NEWS....

1. IT'S OFFICIAL IM AN AP HOLDER!! (it was extremely hard to get, more on that later)

2. I booked my bounce back for me & DH for 10/28-11/3 @ BC (YC was my 1stchoice, but currently no availability for bounce back)!!!!! I'm so excited because it will be our 1st MNSSHP & F&W festival! Dee please add me to BOG!

My only problems on this trip were with Magical Express & trying to upgrade package tickets to AP:

1. I was so excited to try Magical Express because DH & I always drive. We had to wait for 3 buses before we got one & then it ended up being a Mears bus . AOA was 1st drop off, my aunt sitting next to window says "it looks like one of the bags weren't taken at aoa.". We get to Pop & of course my bags missing, I tell the driver that my aunt thought there was a bag left at AOA, driver swears up & down he'd never leave a bag there & he makes sure all bags are taken. Well mines missing so???? He says "I'll do you a favor & take you back to AOA to check, but a normal bus driver wouldn't do that for you (& I'm thinking, um You messed up buddy, not me). We get there & no bag on curb, a real Disney employee walks up & says the left bag was taken to the luggage check in, he walks in & of course its my bag!!!! I was so mad because he was not apologetic at all & he could've lost my belongings, delayed my check in & rest of my day!

2. So after bus disaster we checked in, got settled in room & went to AK. My 1st order of business was to get AP at AK guest relations & then I was told that because of the "new media" they can't upgrade my package tickets to an AP until after I check out because "I will lose everything on my card, including dining plan & access to room & that then it can take many hours to fix!" I ask for a manager who says same thing & says I can only upgrade AFTER I check out, I explained that thur when I check out it will be at 8:30a to get on bus to fly home & cannot possibly get it then. It was pretty much presented as "oh we'll.". I was so disappointed as I wanted AP to start using discount on trip!

So on tue I went to guest relations in Epcot & get a better answer. The CM tells me that after I use my last meal on wed from dining plan to then buy AP as issues with dining plan not working correctly, but that technically my aunts card should work through it all so she can redeem my snacks (technically my dining plan, but not to risk missing a meal). This CM was so helpful & made me feel so much better.

So wed after Ohana dinner we went back to MK & went to guest relations & I got my AP! This CM also said I had to wait until meals were used & also told me I couldn't use fast pass with new AP unless I went back outside & thru turnstile again because it doesn't know I'm in park since I just bought it.

So this was a giant ordeal, but in the end I got my AP! I was disappointed though that I couldn't use AP discount until wed night as I could've saved some more money!

Sorry this took so long, just don't want anyone else to go through either of these crappy situations! Through it all I just kept telling myself "you're in your happy place, stop worrying about stuff you can't change," that helped!

Well then take the boat to DHS and since you are close to the buses... take it from there quick and easy!

Wow. I can't believe the hassle they gave you about the AP. We had 10 day park hoppers (and dining plan) on our room card. I went to the Epcot Guest relations office outside the park (the one inside the park could not help us) and we were able to "cash in" our park hoppers for a Premier AP. We still had several meals on our room card, but there was no mention of using them up before giving us our AP. We did this 5/24, so I wonder what has changed in the last week. What a problem. However, we used our Premier AP at Disneyland today and evidently the FL and CA parks don't link together, so we had nothing but trouble. Hopefully it will be all fixed by the time we go back.

Good God woman! This sounds like a plan I, Buzzy the Fly, can go for!!! You better pack those elastic waist band pants 'cause you're gonna need 'em!

I've eaten at all those places so I'll give you the scoop. Forget D and E. BORING!!! So that leaves A, B, and C. You can eat Italian anywhere so do really wanna pay Disney prices for food and not have a little culinary adventure? That's why I, Buzzy the Fly, recommend Kouzzina! It may be Greek to you but that Mediterranean menu says fresh and exciting to me! Try it and let us know what you thought. Since it's 10 minutes away from the YC/BC as the fly flys it will be news we can use!

Well I am, but if you find yourself in a position where you CAN'T stay at the BC/YC/BCV because you aren't willing to rob a bank or facilitate an early inheritance from an untimely death in your family, then you may be faced with the chore of deciding where else to stay. All that decision making takes time, and these days, who has time when we spend all of our productive hours reading the Dis Boards.

So I'm going to give you Ninja Mom's full proof method for chosing a Disney resort for your next "El Cheapo" stay.

Just ordered DH's AP. I even told him before I ordered, " you know, if you say yes to the AP you konw you are agreeing to multiple Disney vaca's" and he said " no prob"

Well we have switched over to the Yacht Club and we love our room. We can look right onto the boat dock and we are by the lighthouse with a view across the lake.

Tonight we ate at Yachtsman and I cried. Good cry. (Story Ahead)........

Dh and I were celebrating our anniv. We had our buttons on. Our server asked us how many years and we told her. I also told her that dh held my hand when I had cancer and was in the coma for 2 days etc.

Well a little into our dinner, she said someone left you this note and wants you to read it. It said:

Life is precious and part of life is bringing a smile to someone you dont know.

Hope you all enjoyed your meal.

Have a wonderful evening.

Someone named Erin.

Dh said he saw that she was sitting and dining by herself. I am so sorry that I didnt notice her. I always have a lot of pain and just getting to the table and walking is sometimes an effort for sure.

I was so touched by this beautiful, wonderful woman. I dont know if she is a diser or not.

Our server said that has only happened once before to her. I told her if she ever saw this young lady again to make sure she told her thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our server told us she said she does this once a month and picked us because she saw it was our anniv.

What a wonderful magical experience thanks to wonderful Erin

We were exhausted from the heat today. Guess we are not used to this, so we just sat on our balcony and watched Illuminations. The trees obstructed some of the view but we were really happy with what we saw.

Tomm. I will stop in and say hi to Teena.

That's what happens when you have an annual pass... so far I have been twice and I have 4 more trips planned!!

Yeah! We are going to Hoop de Doo on our Oct trip and I was unsure about it!!!

I have not done Aloha but had another friend who said she was disappointed with it.
