When I fist read the title I was going to share in your pain but then I realised it was good news. The other year my video camera disappeared at the airport. I first realised it was missing when I went to show my parents the video and discovered it was gone from my hand luggage. I think it was taken during the debacle of security. I was trying to collect hand luggage and get children's shoes back on. I contacted lost and found at Orlando airport, my airline and even the hotel. However, I never got my video camera. I replaced the video camera but will never get back the videos I took over the 2 weeks and what the children were like at that particular age. I'm so glad you got a happy ending!

One thing I did last year was order two dog tags from a dog tag company, one to attach to my camera strap and one to my camera bag. They are small but contain all of our info, including the words "text or call xxx-xxx-xxxx and the words "cash reward". It will be easy to identify our camera if it is left on a ride and turned into lost and found AND someone may think twice about keeping it knowing there will be a cash reward--they may prefer the cash LOL.

I found the card near the "Welcome to St Marteen" sign. Our tour guide said Disney was the only ship in port that day. I didn't have my laptop with me to see if there were any Disney pics on it, but I took a chance and turned it into Guest Services anyway. I am SO glad that it was returned to you!

I love this idea! We had dog tags made from a machine at Petco, is it similar to these tags? And how do you attach it to your camera strap? I want to do this, brilliant!
