Never been and havent heard anything about it either.. so... please share any info you have!

Thanks!

It's one of the very few restaurants on the planet that you couldn't pay me to eat in again. The food was just awful. Service was subpar. The best part was the bird that was flying around inside the restaurant. Wonder if he ever got out?

Unfortunately, we thought the food was extremely bland. Honestly, it wasn't as good as Chinese food around here, & this isn't exactly a place known for great Chinese food. ;) IMO, PF Chang's is much better. Of all the WS restaurants, this would probably be the last one we return to. I always suggest people try any place once to form their own opinion. I just wouldn't go in expected authentic, flavorful Chinese food.

Eaten at ND twice and it was very good! Had the general tso chicken was best I've had, red bean ice cream was decent tastes like strawberry ice cream and the ginger cake was good too!

I think the food here is pretty decent, just a bit pricey for what it is. It's better than your typical Chinese take-out and about as nice as my favorite upscale local Chinese restaurant that costs half as much ;)

I like the shrimp and chicken eggrolls, blackberry jasmine green tea, the Gerenal Tso Dumplings, and ginger-caramel ice cream! Mmm. Mmm. Mmm.

NOTE: We eat area Chinese frequently, and were pleased by Nine
Dragons. Although not the best, we thought it was quite good for
Epcot's typically Americanized meals. The Beijing Chicken was surprising
good. I can't count Nine Dragons as fine dining, but certainly well above
average.

Well, see, that's why food reviews are so subjective. I've eaten at PF Changs and Nine Dragons, and I prefer Nine Dragons by a very wide margin. I agree that people should try any restaurant they are interested in, and if they try it once and it's not their thing, at least they know. I haven't found the food to be bland, but I do tend to order the spicier entrees.

Actually, I prefer Ming Court, over on International Drive, but Nine Dragons is a very close second.

like the food at Nine Dragons but it was better in it's previous incarnation. The new management has gone for more 'profit' per plate than it used to be. The food is tasty to us and gives our palates something different to try. The other factor is that most of the time you can walk up and get a table with minimal wait.

Enjoy the food at Nine Dragons, especially the Kung Pao Chicken, which is ten times better than any we can get locally and we have Chinese restaurants on every corner. It is pricey though, dinner for four generally runs us over $100

I ate there in January. The appetizer was not edible and the main dish was far worse than any chinese food I have ever had.

We really enjoyed our lunch there in May 2011. My fiance had the Canton Pepper Beef and I had the Honey Sesame Chicken. We shared the General Tso Chicken Dumplings which I think were the best part of the meal. All the food was great! The only thing we didn't like was the seating which was rather cramped and we were practically dining with the family next to us.

Thank you so much for all the replies

Its good to know the food is a bit above counter service quality :)

Still not sure if we will be going though

We were there four months ago, had a wonderful dinner, and are looking forward to eating there again next trip. Wherever you go have a great time!

Agree, the seating is not good. We had a bad table in the middle of the restaurant...I felt like I was back in my school cafeteria.

This is on our "never again" list.

The food was sub-par for Disney. It was bland and in partly over cooked. I get better Chinese food from our local drive-thru take out. It was over priced for the experience.

We sat in the middle of the room and I could reach out and touch the table beside us without stretching. The server was never there, even when our drinks were empty. We went early for dinner (5:15 pm) and there wasn't crowded enough to be ignored. It just wasn't good at all.

And there are too many options to pick from to back to something that was bad.

I agree with this.
