Help me recapture the magic

My DH, DDs, and I have been going to Disney World every year for the past three years. This last trip was a little less than magical and seems to have soured my DH a little. I was hoping to make a trip to Disney a yearly event for us as a family, but he's less than enthusiastic about going back. I hate that because he has been just as excited about going in the past as my DDs and me.

I'm planning the next trip for October of 2014 so we can go to MNSSHP. We usually go during Spring Break so this in itself should be a nice change of pace. What I'm wanting to do is stay at one of the Deluxe resorts on the Club level and I'd really like the advise of all you DISers. I'm looking at either YC, WL, or BC. We've never stayed on the Club level before. Tell me which one would be the best. Poor service at the resort where we stayed was one of the main issues with our last trip and I don't want to run into that again.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

If you HH on the SR you will have a great time in the MORN. Good luck!

We have stayed CL at WL and YC. Both are great resorts but overall, we absolutely LOVED WL and would chose its CL over YC's.

The WL, in our opinion, had much better food options. The selections ranged from chicken wings, to chili, to meatballs, to chicken skewers, to scallops wrapped in bacon!! YUM!!!

The YC provided "something fried" every night. :worried: well, one night they did have scallops wrapped in bacon...

We like the layout of the WL lounge way better and being able to watch the EWP. From our room at WL, we had a view of Cinderella Castle and Wishes. pixiedust:

You cannot beat the location of YC with being able to walk to two parks, but we thought the bus service at WL was very good.

The CM's on WL CL were awesome!!!! So much personal attention, and they were soooo friendly.

We also like the QS option at YC, whereas the YC is quite limited in that regard.

WL is cozy and warm, and jus seems like a vacation in a vacation. We feel at home there. :cloud9:

We wouldn't hesitate to stay at YC either, but we wouldn't do CL there again.

I completely understand!! We have had 2 less than magical stats at deluxe Wdw resorts and my DH was to the point he dust want to back to WDW, me, I just wanted to avoid those 2 resorts!

I think it's important to " start over" and try to not put too much expectations, that's what DH and I discussed and hopefully when the small magical things happen it will turn it into a BIG magical trip! Does that make sense?
