We got back from our first stay at the Beach Club on May 11th... I'm already dreaming about going back - but thinking of Yacht club this time, just to change it up a little bit. We are afraid to stay anywhere else but Bc/YC b/c we loved the pools so much and the location was amazing for our family.

Thanks to everyone for posting so many great pics and info - makes my Disney dreaming so much fun Hoping for another early May trip for 2014.

GoldieLocks5, we just returned from the BCVs May 19th and already planning a trip back early May 2014 too! I read your post to my husband and he thought I wrote it, lol! We keep saying we're going to try another DVC resort but keep going back to BCV...we love it so much!

I am getting so excited about our trip 8/31-9/7. Wish they didn't mess with the free dining dates, but oh well, the kids will miss two half days of school. They'll live. Last time we stayed BC we were in 2606 which was a huge corner room with a huge balcony. This time I opted for a GV but I don't know what to ask for - closer to pool or closer to Epcot. How close can we get to Epcot with just a GV room? I'm not too worried about a balcony because we really didn't use it last time. Between the oppressive August heat and all the bird crap all over it was a tough place to enjoy.

Anyone have any tips? My kids are now 15, 13 and 11 but they don't mind walking - as long as they are headed to SAB!

I don't get over to this thread very often, but when I do I am always blown away from the beautiful and creative pictures everyone posts!!!

As dansdad indicates, you can get to the Yacht & Beach Club FAQ thread by clicking on the link he provided or the link in my signature. There's lots of pictures and information on the first page of the thread, and many long-time devotees of the resort who hang around there to try to answer questions.
