I am rejoining the world of the employed! My "downsizing"/temporary job/unemployed nightmare is about to end! I was offered a job at a large Credit Union in the area starting on June 10th as that is their next training schedule. I am so excited! I really wanted this job!
I was able to travel with Andrew's lacrosse team as their score keeper so I cannot be upset about by unexpected time off. Their season is ending and I am about to return to work!
Sooooo, I am now really hoping to be able to pull off the December weekend and I can continue to plan our 10 days in August without fear of having to cancel.

"1coolnini & 1coolpapa's first visit to the Magic Kingdom. Yay, we made it!"
And they had lunch today at...
"I had read so much about this restaurant I HAD to try it for myself. We were in line by 10:40 and the CM told us it would be a 90 minute wait. 1coolpapa nearly bolted but I reassured him that everyone here on this thread says the line moves quickly."

"In 5 minutes our lunch arrived...

"For a quick service meal it really is a pretty good deal. The tuna salad had 3 large pieces of tuna. DH enjoyed his turkey sandwich and said the fries were good. Lots of onions in the onion soup (it was yummy). Cupcakes were moist and full of flavor, but somewhat messy to eat."

Nicole (AvaMommy526), Ava, and Jeff also were there but they used this Fast Pass that was given to them at the ME desk at the airport yesterday.
Nicole said, "We set up the Fast Pass lunch at Be our Guest for today! Our window was for 1:20 - 1:35, we showed up right at 1:20 and went through. They scanned our room key for payment and we picked a table. We had a yellow rose instead of red."
"After 10 minutes or so, a couple of CMs asked what was on our order and the name but then it came right out! We didn't mind, the restaurant is beautiful and it gave me time to explore the rooms quick and take some pictures!"
"I had the French onion soup...
"I thought it was good, there was a lot of pepper at the bottom though. I wasn't crazy about it but it was decent."
"Ava got the Kids Turkey Sandwich with Pommes Frites and Applesauce...
"I ate her sandwich (which I knew would happen so that's why I only got soup) and she ate the rest. The sandwich was decent, I did like that the turkey was real and not cold cuts!"
"Jeff got the Roast Beef with horseradish sauce and Pommes Frites...
"He thought everything was great! His real winner though was the strawberry cupcake! He said, "Tell your friends on the DISboards that they should come here just for this cupcake! It's worth the wait alone!"
"I had the Lemon Raspberry Cream Puff, which I loved as well!...

Okay so I haven't been following along much for the last couple weeks. Dang real life getting in the way of my dising! So I'm not real sure of what the dis meet in December is but it caught my eye as I just finished booking a December 7th - 17th vacation for the family! We obviously can't do much fun adult stuff with a 3 year old but I would love to hear more about the plans!

Jen (jenifferf00) was not at Magic Kingdom today but instead at the "other" Kingdom, where they had lunch at...
Here's what she had...
"Ribs and chicken combo with baked beans and cole slaw. Very good. My DH had the Pulled Pork Sandwich (no pic) and really liked it. The girls had hot dogs and loved those too. Kids meals do not come with fries here, so I was able to get them to eat carrots and grapes!"

Riverside Mill

"Here is one daughter's Make your own Pasta. I believe she had penne pasta with pesto chicken and I can't remember what else. She let me try it and it was very good."
"My youngest daughter had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. One of her favorite sandwiches to eat."
"And finally mine. I had the Make your own Pasta with fettuccine shrimp, red pepper, broccoli, and spinach with Alfredo. It was very good. It stayed hot the whole way eating it."
"We would definitely eat there again."

Love the BOG pictures I can't wait to try it! Just curious about the FP for lunch, how does that work?
I hadn't heard anything about them doing that until we got to the ME check in desk and she handed me that little card! I had to follow the instructions go online, type in my reservation number, pick a day and then it gave me 2 available time slots for lunch (15min intervals). Then we picked all our food, desserts, and drinks online for each of us! When we got to BOG there was a looooong line but we went up to a little booth we were directed to, gave them the card and we went down the left side right into the restaurant (just like a fastpass line for rides) then they asked for our room key for payment (according to the card, this is only invitation testing for resort guests) sent us into the restaurant and told us to pick a table and place the yellow flower on it and they would find us! There seemed to be a little hiccup with finding our order but we never had to ask they came up to us asking how long we'd been waiting, and our food was there within minutes of that! It was great, I definitely think they should implement this! And it's so beautiful, next to us was a young woman who was dressed in a Snow White shirt and bow and honestly she should have been one of the princesses and she was just in awe of everything. I went up to her when we were leaving and told her how happy it makes me to see people so happy and appreciative of how amazing Disney really is, it's truly magical! Sorry for the long winded response lol, I was really excited about that Fastpass
