Oh NO! I just checked the forecast - rain almost every day. I sure hope it changes!

Don't worry about the forecast for rain in the carribean! Not that it won't rain but really it is always a chance of it in this area. It rains for a few minutes and then turns sunny and beautiful and never completely ruins the day. We have traveled to Mexico 5 times in the last 2 years and every single time the forecast called for rain and thunderstorms daily. I was almost in tears our first trip worrying about it. We even went last August with hurricane Ernesto and thought it would be horrible. It was amazing. We laid out in the sun the morning the hurricane (cat 1) hit and then rained and windy in afternoon and night and next morning it was gorgeous weather again. So long story short don't worry about the forecast for rain. Even a hurricane didn't ruin our trip. In fact the boys thought it was cool to see the wind and tell their friends they survived a hurricane. Lol. Not sure I would want to be around for anything more than cat 1 though.

Does anyone know this answer for me.... I have 3 kids in my party between 2 staterooms. I have a pillowcase for each to be signed, however I only bought 1 set of fabric markers. Do you think they would let me leave all 3 together or do I need to get another set of markers?

Lynsey we have a Facebook page also and that's where the weather is. As far as the FE, it is pretty late for that but we are having a meet and greet on embarkation day from 2 to 3 pm that you are welcome to come to to meet everyone.

What is the facebook page called? I have been on my computer religiously for the past few months planning this cruise and looking things up lol. I wish I would have found this forum earlier. It seems like a great idea for families to meet and have a great time hanging out and making the cruise more fun with good people.

Hi My name is Lynsey Dixon and I am 27 year old mom and I have 2 boys ages 4 and 2 almost 3. This is going to be our first cruise and so excited it's going to be a disney cruise! I was hoping to meet other moms on here and families that could give me some advice and maybe get to know before the cruise and possibly hang out with on the cruise. Hi lynsey. Welcome to the board. I am sure you are welcome at the meet and great in D lounge. I think at 2:00 pm on saturday. Not sure exactly. It is a few pages back if you look. Not sure about FE as we aren't doing it. Seems late though since most people have probably bought and packed all their stuff and it would be stressful on you to try and organize all your gifts to take and pack clothes with less than a week left. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Heck I had 3 months to do it and still opted out because I didn't feel I had enough time to do something great for gifts. Some people have worked on and planned their gifts for months. I felt overwhelmed by it. The cabana thing sounds great. Hope you find someone to split it with. See you soon!

Idk if I have the answer but I bought photo mats to be signed for each of my 3 girls and one set of colored Sharpies. I put each mat in their own bag with their names on it inside another bag with the markers. I'm hoping that makes them realize they are for 3 separate people.

I'm sure when it does rain it's a warm rain. Do you think I need to pack umbrellas and ponchos? I'm not planning on bringing jackets, just a sweatshirt. Is that going to be a mistake not bringing a jacket?

Disney will give out ponchos on the gangway if its raining. Nice bright yellow ones.

This is only my first cruise from what I have read the disney staff is really great about working with you to make your experience the best it can be. I am sure if you give them the 3 pillowcases and the one set of markers they can get all 3 pillowcases signed and then just return all 3 to you to give back to the kids.

Aww I'm so jealous. We are getting into Disney Friday night. We are going to go to Magic Kingdom but not until the day we get back from the cruise. With a 4 and 2 year old didn't want to stress them out to much the first day we arrive. We got a hotel at the Best Western in Cocoa Beach.

Not a mom But our son is 4 1/2 and will be in the club probably the minute he gets a chance as he had a great time last year as a first-timer. We'll be glad to introduce him if you come to the Deck meet on Saturday, his name is Mateo. I'll be the one taking photos lol.
