This is me on a previous trip with People and Places , I am priviledged to take people with Developmental Disabilties on some wonderful vacations !! I get to spend time with some awesome people and get to go on these all expense paid trips .



This is Carole my co escort for this trip!! Also on another P&P trip !!!



Here are the Guys

It all started out when we met at Buffalo Airport at the ungodly hour of 4:30 aWe waited for our plane and as you can see Wooden Marv was along for the ride

We landed on time , and found our way to the baggage pick up !! For the most part that went smoothly other than the 1 guy who had everyone looking for his suitcase and it was already offOne of the other escorts who was on our flight sort of just left us and I saw her heading to the elevators and thought she had gone down, well she didn't she went to get HER guys something to eat !! We had no idea what we did next , but I knew we had vans picking us up at 11 am so I found the number and called they said we should wait at Baggage , when I told them we were down a floor they said stay put , that is fine . Soon the third group joined us and we all found our vans , 3 of them a couple with luggage carts in tow !!It was about a 40 minute drive , I believe we were doing 80 Before we knew it we saw this



Our home for the next 4 days

Boarding went smoothly , considering we were checking in 10 people . Our cabins were ready so we headed to Deck 8 !!Those elevators were slow!!!!! Everyone trying to get on and off and we needed an almost empty one to fit us all. But we found one and were soon on Deck 8 . Located our rooms and hung the pix of different Disney Characters on each door . I was Mickey and Carole Minnie . We unloaded the carry ons and the meds and headed up to Deck 11 and Cabanas for lunch!!

The buffet was as wonderful as Karin said !! I took LOTS of Food pix




The asparagus was out of this world I finished most of mine before I even got to the table


I know this was Nancy's plate she was a fruit and veggie lover



This was mine ,the Lamb chop was delish and looks like I did save a few asparagus for the table



Not sure but would guess Charles as he was the most likely to have also got a lamb chop!!!

We then headed back to the room to freshen up and wait for the dreaded Life boat drill Due to our cabins we were in different sections and different meeting places and even then they had us on different life boats , but even though Carole and I were separated we both quickly said "I think we need to be with them " and they agreed . By now I had to do meds and there was no time to make it to the deck for the sail away party so...

Yes the food was awesome !! We only ate lunch there one other day , our sea day !!The choices were different that time but still yummy!!

I am trying to get my dh to go on a Cruise and I almost talked him into going over to watch the cruise ships leave Sunday night, but we never did make it over there.
