I have to say that I was one of the ones that didn't get it...why people love this mod the most....these pics are amazing!! Andre's pics alone have totally converted me and I will now be looking at this resort for our 2014visit! POFQ, quite frankly, scares ME and I don't want my 5 and 3 yo's scared of the hanging faces and jesters!!

My love affair with POR started with my fifth trip; first time with my mom. She absolutely loved the resort and made me fall in love with it too.

I am southern girl, so I love the mansions. You can almost picture Scarlett O'Hara running down the stairs in her ball gown.....a girl can dream.

Andre is such a wonderful ambassador for both of the resorts.

I feel exactly the same way about POFQ. I hate those faces. Looking at you from all directions. We are staying at POR for the first time and I hope it is all that I dream it will be. We have always stayed at Values. I am so excited. It is going to be the best vacay I have had in a while!

This is so pretty We are leaning toward staying here our next trip. We did stay here a long time ago when it was called Dixie Landings in the mansion section. We would like to try the AB this next time.

This is a photos thread, it might be best to check out the FAQ thread instead.

But it really is a "how long is a piece of string" question; it could be anything from as little as 300 yards up to 600+ yards from the front desk to your room door. It might be easier to drive round (if you have a car) and park behind your building and walk from there - or cheat and get Bell Services to take your luggage and ask if you can go with them on their pargo.
