Which resort with these parks planned

So our itinerary involves 2 MK days, 1or 2 epcot, 1 DHS and half day AK. Which deluxe would everyone suggest??

BC/YC because you have the boat or walk to either Epcot or HS. You would only need the buses to 2 parks.

I'd suggest the Poly. It's a boat or monorail ride to MK for your 2 days and a very short walk to TTC to get a monorail to Epcot for your 1 - 2 days. The ride to HS and AK aren't that bad at all.

The Poly is also very relaxing with a full on view of the MK fireworks at night from the beach. The CS also has dole whips there!

ETA: Sorry I didn't look at your user name before I answered this. You already stayed at the Poly last time, so I'm changing my answer. :) I'll change my opinion to the YC or BC just for a change of pace!

Anything on the monorail line. The majority of your time will be spent at MK and Epcot, and both are easiest accessed by the monorail. If you stay at the poly, you can walk to TTC and if you stay at the Contemporary, you can walk to MK. One of those would be best.

I would agree that anything on the monorail line would give you good access to MK and Epcot. For a half day at AK and 1 day at HS, I wouldn't choose based on those parks.

I agree with the ones that suggested a monorail resort since 2 days will be spent at MK. The Poly is very convenient as it's just 2 monorail stops from MK and is a 5-7 minute walk to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail. The CR is also great for ease of transportation to MK (walking) and having the monorail for getting to Epcot. If the GF appeals to you at all, that is convenient as well as MK is the first stop on the monorail. The Epcot resorts are great for going to Epcot and DHS, but in our experience, it was frustrating getting to MK. Since it's pretty easy getting to Epcot from the monorail resorts, I would definitely choose one of those over an Epcot resort.

If you stay in the tower I would do the Contemporary. Everything is right there and you can walk to the MK. Also I think the rooms are the nicest ones on property. Some may argue that there is no theming, but I think it's classic disney with CM, the mouse ears in the concourse, and the monorail going right through. Most kids don't care as much about theming as adults think (with the exception of the values) and are likely to be more wowed by the monorail/view of the castle more than say the immersive Hawaiian feel of the Poly. At least I was as a kid...

As much as I loved the Poly as a kid I loved stopping in the Contemporary. I loved how busy it was; the monorails coming in and out and Chef Mickeys down below makes it feel like you never left the park. Some kids may not like the overstimulation (some autism cases, for example) but I'm sure most kids would love this.

I have looked at both tower and garden wing rooms. Are you implying not to stay garden wing and only tower?? is CR only worth it if in the tower??

We will have 3 kids under 6 years old as well so monorail sounds great!

where are the mouse ears?? sounds like something my kids would love!

They are at the entrance to the Fantasia store. To be honest, I wouldn't stress too much about picking a resort based on what your kids will or won't like. If they are under 10, they aren't really going to care drastically about the resort. All Disney Deluxe resorts have something cool to make a kid go wow for about 10 minutes, but when you are that age, nothing compares to the parks. I would focus more on picking the resort that you want to stay at.

I'd vote for the poly. monorail to mk and epcot. epcot monorail made even easier if you walk to the transportation ticket center rather than take the resort loop around. then it would just be a bus to the other parks. second vote would be for one of the resorts in the boardwalk area since you walk to both dhs and epcot...but remember you walk to both dhs and epcot lol.
