Does anyone know why Typhoon Lagoon is closing next week?

They filed paperwork recently for work on the pumps for the wave pool, so odds are its that. Some people had been reporting different wave patterns (smaller than normal) so they may be having issues.

That's what's being reported on every site i've seen and they have to bring in equipment to do that and that means people can't be there.

A few days maybe a week it on the refurb lists.

We were told, at work, that it had to do with repairs to the wave pool, but nothing further. I would agree that it is probably related to the pumps.

We were also told that it is expected to reopen on Friday, but that would be subject to change.

We just came home on Friday. We were at Typhoon Lagoon on Wednesday and they were having problems with the wave pool. So I would definitely agree thats what the refurb is for.
