A Different Bounceback Question

I have seen BB offers in the past but have never gotten to take advantage of them. I am hoping we will have one when we go in August. We are planning our next trip for May. However, I really want to try to book my May 2014 trip as soon as the website will let me. IF we receive a BB offer in August 2013 and we already have reservations for May 2014, can we apply the BB offer or will we have to cancel the reservations we have and rebook?

I'm sorry if this has been asked. I did the Search but did not see this specific question. I am new to the BB stuff.

Well, Pooh. I just read a BB thread that had a picture of the flyer and you have to book it as a package. We will already have our AP's so I *think* we would be booking room only, right? We have never had AP's before either. I'm SO CONFUSED!!! :confused3

The CM should be able to apply the discount to your current reservation. Worst-case scenario is they have to cancel and re-book. But with room-only, it's just the cost of one night.

It depends on what the offer is for. Free dining offers typically require a minimum purchase of two-day tickets in a package (which you can save and use toward your AP renewal). Or, if you'd really rather have a room-only discount, you can wait for a public offer or the AP discounts to be released.

Also, the 2014 bounceback discounts may not be out by August, they typically don't flip the year until sometime in the fall.

Last August the bounce back offer was for free dining select dates in August-Sept 2013. The bounce back offers for 2013 dates didn't come out until Dec 2012 and they were for room only discounts. So if Disney sticks to that pattern, you won't get a bounce back that will include May 2014 when you are there in August.

We are going to book a room for May 2014 as soon as the prices are released and then hope we get a bounce back offer this December that we can apply to that reservation. :)

Each adult on the room reservation can book one BB reservation.

In this case is there 1 reservation in each adults name. I ask because I am going in December and meeting my brother and his wife. Then next summer I am planning on taking my 4 kids (18,16 15 & 13) so I was hoping to book 2 rooms at a value resort. Is this possible if neither my brother or his wife will be joining us next summer? If not maybe I need to bring the 18 year old along on this trip and tell him not to tell his brothers and sister :rotfl2:
