Mad Hattered

I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work.

Ate there last night everything was delicious. FYI Last night the sustainable catch was Halibut.

Anything is better than what the had. The last two times we went the food was not all the great and the service was worse.

So far, this is the only restaurant that DH and I have been to that we would not repeat. Our food was horribly salty and less than mediocre. He had the lobster orchiette pasta and I had the fish with coconut lime sauce.

I agree. Our service was horrible as well. We waited almost an hour after our ADR time to be seated and our waiter was very inattentive.

Makes me so sad to hear so many people dislike the food here. I've made it a tradition as the first meal of the trip the last 3 trips and again in September...and it's been the tastiest.

We were just there in April and this looks like the menu we had (or at least the things we ordered are on it). We had the appetizer for 2 and it was delicious. Surprisingly even enjoyed the greens and slaw on the plate so it was completely cleared by my boyfriend and I. Then we both had the NY Strip and I have to say this is still my favorite steak in all of Disney...even compared to Le Cellier and Yachtsman Steakhouse. But it is very SEASONED so if that's not your thing then you probably won't like it. But it melted in my mouth and was just perfection as far as I was concerned. Our server was also excellent. I really talked this place up to my boyfriend (his first time eating here) and he was not disappointed.

When my family went in October we all (again) thought it was the best meal of the trip even up against California Grill. I guess it just really suits our tastes. And the atmosphere is just so amazing. Love looking at the fish tank and the low lighting.

We love Coral Reef, but I really miss the catfish they used to have. We'll probably eat there again in Nov. Last time there was in Oct 2011 and we really enjoyed it, although there is always a wait past our ADR time to be seated. I can't even eat seafood-allergic to shrimp so I avoid all shellfish, etc. Our only issue there was in 2008 when someone had a screaming child that they wouldn't take outside. Our server even apologized and said the parents need to take the child out. We get to sit up near the tank since it's just DH and I so we get all the kids coming down and "joining" us for dinner.

DH will get the steak, like he always does and I now get the chicken.

So excited for the gardein! I wish every restaurant offered one entree with one of the gardein foods or something similar!
