^^^^^ Thank you:goodvibes:thumbsup2

I'm confused about the last bit of information - the 2 Vero Beach ROFR'd at $24 a point - we had a VB contract taken on March 22 that was $38 point - what happened to that one in mix?

I wonder...does it show up once it closes, so in May?

wdrl- Thanks for compiling this. It's very interesting information!!!

There is some lag time between when DVD ROFRs a deed and when the warranty deed is filed and recorded. Once DVD exercises ROFR, it still has to go through the normal closing process, which can be delayed because sellers don't return forms timely, etc. Only when DVD has closed and taken legal ownership of a deed does it file the warranty deed with the county.

I talked to the person who made the offers on the two Vero Beach deeds that appear in the April summary. The person was notified in mid-February (2/12??) that the deeds were ROFRed by DVD. The warranty deeds were not recorded by Indian River until April 6, 2013.

If you had a Vero Beach deed ROFRed on March 22, then the warranty deed will probably show up sometime in May.

Wow , What a month, thanks for keeping track of this:thumbsup2

Makes me more nervous about waiting for my SSR to pass. Day 2 waiting for ROFR.

Us too :guilty: We offered $79 pp for VWL all 2013 points going fwd. It felt like a pretty strong offer, but after seeing what they have been ROFR'ing lately - I am definitely not confidant.

All I can say for sure is that we offered what we were comfortable paying and what we thought was fair. If Disney takes it, I know there's nothing else I could have done and I won't be mad at myself for low balling it. I will JUST be mad at Disney :rotfl:

We actually went in at what the seller was asking, so there wasn't much more we could do. When SSR is being sold direct at $125pp, I thought $69 sounded darn good! Lol.

I'm just such an impatient person and hate not having any control. It's only day 2 and literally I check my email all day long looking for that "you passed" message. Ugh!!

A warranty deed appeared yesterday (May 7th) on the Indian River website. It was for a 150 point Vero Beach deed with a 0.1567% interest in Unit 15C, which has a December UY. The Sale Consideration amount is shown as $5,700, which equates to $38 a point.

Does this sound like the Vero Beach deed that you tried to buy?

Yes - this would be the same I believe. - btw - thanks for all the work you put in - its really interesting to see the breakdown!

A big thank you from me as well. I've been following this for over a year!

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments about this thread. Sometimes, I think there are only a handful of people who read this thread, so I'm amazed when I see the thread has received over 60,000 views since it started in August 2010.

At least 200 of them were me:)

This thread is important because it provides the data to support or refute many of the inferences that we make here on the boards. I believe that everybody who comes to the Purchasing DVC boards should take the time to read this thread. So, again, thanks! :)

We are a quiet fan base. Keep up the great work!

I'm not good explaining things well, so I leave that to those who can, but I can say the work you do here is tremendously appreciated! :)

Thank you!

I appreciate it too! Even if I rarely ever comment, I certainly read the monthly updates. SO thank you for doing this!:thumbsup2

LOL at the "quiet fan base" comment.:rotfl:

We just bought recently and this thread was invaluable. Thanks!!!

Another big thanks from me too WDLR! :wave2: I started reading the thread right before/after I put in my first resale offer. The information you give here is so helpful!

Thanks for all the hard work! :thumbsup2

:rotfl: I'm right there with you! We went in at full price too, so at least I won't be kicking myself if we don't get it. And I have been a crazy person, checking the Dis every 20 minutes as if someone here will be able to give me peace of mind.:hyper:

I too have received some wise words to calm down, and that is what I will TRY to do. ;)

I'm leaving tomorrow for an Alaskan cruise, so at least I will have some time away with quite a bit of distractions. :goodvibes Good luck waiting the month. I know it's brutal, especially with so much being ROFR'd right now.

pixiedust: For both of us and everyone else waiting!
