Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls tonigth .......

Wait why is everyone calling tomorrow?!?! I thought it's not out yet?! I'm confused :(

They must be Disney Visa card holders. But I'm not sure if they have received official offers yet telling them to call or if they're just calling in the hope that CMs will be able to apply the FD immediately :)

Been a few reports that TAs have told some clients on here that the DV FD offer will open tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know if/when room rates will go down? Not sure if I should book my reservation right when free dining becomes available or wait till the rates drop a bit. Someone told me Coronado Springs is suppose to be around $100 per night in September.

Also, in order to qualify for the 0% for 6 months on Disney Visa, I would need to book it through them correct?

You have to book through Disney Travel Company in order to get the financing. There's no designated Visa line to book with, but you can't use outside travel agents.

Do you think it's worth going in September instead of December in this case? I've never been in Sept.

That really depends. Crowds are much lower and you would pay less (depending when in Dec you're talking about) but its very hot. I don't mind the heat plus my birthday is Sept 14, so we're braving it. I haven't been to Disney in Dec since I was young because 4th quarter at my company makes it difficult to take time off.

Cant use outside TAs? Every good TA with a client with a Disney Visa will be on the phone at 7am to have the promo added if rumors are true! That's one of the glories of using a TA!

I mean for the financing bit. Spoke to Visa and they will not extend the 6 month financing unless the charge is from Disney Travel Company. Some TAs might have ways around this but I didn't want to risk it.

Pretty much all TAs extend the Visa discounts and special offers, or at least should.

If you're using an Earmarked TA the financing benefit will still be applied. As long as your TA let's Disney make the transaction on your credit card you will be alright :) It's when the travel agency bills you and then pays Disney that you have a problem.

I was going to say the same thing!

The only way a TA would not get you the financing offer is if they pay for your vacatoin with thier account and then just take a payment from you to themselves. I dont know any agency that does that, its not a good business practice and I'm not even sure its allowed.

So nothing on any website anywhere about confirmed Visa free dining yet, guess we have another 30 minutes till the line opens to find out.

If free dining becomes available, book it. Room rack rates at Coronado springs will not drop to $100 a night. They MAY release a room only code, but the MAX you would see is probably 30% off (but more likely 20% off) which would not get a moderate down to $100. For free dining, you must pay rack rate for your room so you can't use a room only code with free dining. So, if you are interested in free dining, book it.

Beginning of Sept. is the cheapest, it goes up after the middle of the month, keeps going up after that, and doesn't come down till mid-January, I'm pretty sure.

I am not sure what you mean, but for someone to get 0% they just have to use their Disney visa. They can book viA a TA or directly through Disney, or through AAA as well. They just have to use the visa for their Disney resort package. Their payments are made directly to Disney, not to a TA account then disney. I don't know any agency that would do that.
