So there we were just watching TV and my DFi says out of nowhere:

"Why don't we have a Disney-moon."

I am in SHOCK!

So maybe planning will happen sooner than I thought!!

I actually cried!

(I know this is probably in the wrong forum but I just had to tell you all!!)

That's awesome! As Disney lovers its nice to get confirmation from those that we go with that they actually enjoy it and we aren't just dragging them along. And for one to actually suggest the trip is even better!

My dad always rips into WDW and what a "rip-off" it is (mostly to get my Disney obsessed mom mad lol) so imagine her shock when she was trying to plan a non Disney trip they'd both like for their anniversary and he shot it down, saying why don't they just use the money to go club level at the Poly? She and I both nearly passed out.

We went last year and I knew he enjoyed it and I had jokingly been throwing around the idea of a Disney-moon! He said that he would want to do it 100% the best we could so have honeymoon suites etc! I couldn't stop crying, haha!

We had a Wedding Vow Renewal at WDW last year which I arranged as a surprise for my DW. Everyone we encountered on the trip congratulated us (we even got a number of freebies!) and it was just a fantastic experience.

There is a "Disneymoon" brochure (or at least there was last year) I think you can view it on the Disney Weddings Site.

Not long after we got engaged I told DFi, we will be having a Disney-moon by the way!! Luckily he loves Disney just as much as I do and agreed without a fuss

We had our Disney wedding and Disneymoon nearly 4 years ago and I remember just about every second of it.

Make sure you get it noted on your reservations but don't be disappointed if it doesn't always lead to something special.

First time back again this year. We said we wouldn't return until we had kids to enjoy it with, and this year is the year...

We ordered the brochure yesterday! Can't believe it! We only went end of last year, I didn't think I would be planning another one for sometime in 2015 that would be our honeymoon!

Yes it was We has done no research though and were skint, so it was a random approach to Disney!

A lot depends on what you do I guess, we had some really lovely meals (dining plan),also took time out just for us and had tons of congratulations. I wore a bride Minnie ear headband, way more comfy than the hat! It was hubby's first time at wdw and he LOVED it (he proposed when we were in DLP!!!My dream!!!!).
