2013 Free Dining Watch

Hi looking to buy 10 day park ticket hopper with water parks, can you tell me how many times you can go too water parks and theme park, also can you do 2 parks on the same day, thanks

You can go to theme parks 10 days and with hoppers, you can go to as may parks as you want per day. I believe you also get 10 WP admissions as well.

With Park Hopper tix you can hop from Epcot, MK, HS and AK as much as you want. HOWEVER, if you were to hop from Typhoon Lagoon to Blizzard Beach in the same day, that would use 2 of your "plus" options.

You do get 10 plus options with those tickets though...
Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply,we thought you could only use 1 water park your stay.thanks again.

You get 10 total and it isn't just for the water parks. Could be used at any of the following a one-day admission to one of the water parks, a one-day admission to Disney Quest, a one-day admission to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or one round at Disney’s nine-hole Oak Trail golf course.

Does a one-day admission include re-entry? Ie. Go to Disney Quest in the morning, leave for lunch and come back to Disney Quest after; would this use only one-day?

It's cheaper to stay in one room at POR with a family of 5. That's what were doing, I'm going to check the numbers once again to be sure. I have ran the numbers many times already. Keep in mind my kids are all considered adults now. If you have young kids it may be different for you.

I just checked again it's $804.33 more for us to get 2 rooms at POP and upgrade the dining. As much as I would love 2 bathrooms my DH would rather save the money.

We've been a family of 5 with three young kids, and we've stayed at POR for the last several visits. We want to try other resorts, but it's always been dramatically less expensive than other resort options for us.

One thing to consider though... one person needs to be small enough for the trundle bed. We found it plenty big for our family, but it may not work for a large adult.

Guys. I thought I'd do my due diligence and pass this along.

As 411 has mentioned before, they haven't done this in the past and I've not know them to do this lately either. But I thought I'd share a quote from one source that was sent to me privately. Take it for what it's worth and a grain of salt as always. I hope we don't have to wait a few more days....it's just killing everyone.

"Joe, I've been told that lately deals have opened outside the US first, then to Disney Visa, and then to the US general public. So if it works this way, and May 9 is indeed the "rest of world" date, then the visa deal may be at the end of next week, and the general public deal May 13 or so."

Again not likely. But it could mean that visa offers wouldn't be til the 9th. Unlikely but a,ways possible.

So, in previous posts some folks said that about a day before the DV offers drop, we will catch wind of it on these boards and others. With it being relatively quiet is it safe to assume that it is likely to be offered later in the week?

I'm working on it.....

Was just looking at the "free" dining offered to UK residents. At present, even in Moderate resorts they're only getting the QS dining plan! Now I can somewhat agree with the change they made a few years ago that Value resorts only get the QS plan while Mods and Deluxe get the full DDP.

If Disney tries to pull this stunt with "free" dining this year, it's going to backfire. Nobody can argue that the full rack rate on a Moderate is anything but exhorbitant compared to a million comparable rooms around Orlando. The ONLY way I would stay on property in such a low season like September is with the full DDP in a Moderate. Period

I saw this on mousemisers: it could be older, but it does cover dates I was thinking. That's where I saw it.

Travel dates: January 1 – March 19, April 7 – December 8, 2013

Walt Disney World has released a new discount for UK residents only, free dining for much of 2013. Guests staying in a Walt Disney World moderate resort will receive the quick service dining plan for free for their entire stay, while guests staying at a Walt Disney World deluxe or deluxe villa resort receive the Disney Dining Plan for their entire stay. Walt Disney World value resorts are excluded from this offer.

Actually, they have free dining dates well into 2014 now.
