I always liked reading peoples timelines to get an idea so here's my lastest one:

3/13 Made offer, accepted same day
3/14 Documents received, faxed back, deposit paid, sent to ROFR
4/9 Passed ROFR
4/10 Clsoing Documents received, returned and transfer arranged
4/12 Informed wired fund completed then realised that intemediary bank had taken more than originally stated.
4/14 Second amount of funding sent
4/17 Closed
5/1 New contract number appeared on my DVC site
5/2 Points loaded

7 weeks, one day from offer to points. If we hadn't had problems with the wire and then the hitches with the DVC homepage I think it would have come in at just under 7 weeks so I can't complain!

This is our second resale with TTS, our first came in at just under 7 weeks too so I really can't fault them.

Now to start planning my 2014 trip!:cheer2:

Yes, I found the timelines helpful as well! Here's mine -- I purchased through TSS, and it took exactly 2 months!

3/3: Offered asking price and received contract
3/4: faxed contract back and overnighted deposit check and signed originals
3/5: deposit check and forms received; contract sent to Disney for ROFR
4/2: notified that ROFR was waived
4/9: received closing documents; overnighted signed documents and cashier's check
4/10: closing documents received
4/17: notified of closing; deed recorded on Florida Comptroller website
5/2: received letter with membership number (dated 4/28, postmarked 4/30)
5/3: called Member Services for online activation code; points loaded

I passed ROFR on 5/6. I was told by Fidelity at that time that is would be "no more than 8 business days" for me to receive my closing docs. I did not get them for 10 business days and when they arrived there were 3 typos, so I waited another day to get corrected documents.
I hope you get yours sooner.

Here is mine, longer than most:

2/28 (Thu) - Listing posted to site (very late at night, after I went to bed)
3/01 (Fri) - Made offer. (6:30am) Immediately got email back acknowledging offer.
3/05 (Tue) - Hadn't heard anything, so I called. No more information.
3/06 (Wed) - Received a call that offer was accepted. (late afternoon)
3/07 (Thu) - Listing taken down from site.
3/12 (Tue) - Received contract to sign. (afternoon) (this was days later than expected, and now I was out of town)
3/15 (Fri) - Signed contract and sent. (morning) Submitted for ROFR a few hours later. (late morning)
4/9 (Tue) - Passed ROFR.
4/19 (Fri) - Received closing documents. (late in the day)
4/22 (Mon) - Mailed back closing documents and cashiers check, using 2nd day air.
4/24 (Wed) - Closing documents received by title company.
5/3 (Fri) - Was told that closing was complete (over the phone).
5/7 (Tue) - Got email from Title Company saying that closing was complete.
5/8 (Wed) - Deed and ROFR Waiver were posted to the Orange County FL website.
5/18 (Sat) - Disney added us into their system.
5/19 (Sun) - Got Member ID number over the phone, and code to sign into website. (after being very persistent)
5/20 (Mon) - Booked our first trip online.
5/24 (Fri) - Received official letter with Member ID in the mail.

Our time line:

Now waiting for the points to be added to our current membership as we purchased the same UY. Waiting, waiting, waiting...this part now feels like forever.

Congratulations! That's great:-). I recommended that my in-laws look at the resale market for purchasing DVC points. Hopefully theirs goes as smoothly as yours!

I think the timelines might be a little longer just now while member administration deal with the VGF sales

Wow that was a quickie, Welcome Home!:hyper:

Wow, so many fast turn arounds. It feels like I will be waiting forever! We submitted our offer on 3/25, passed ROFR on 4/22 and have not received out closing paperwork from Fidelity's title company yet. I have had a few e-mails saying it would be a couple of days.
