TIW - Pool Bars?

Hi All! We are considering choosing TIW for this trip instead of DDP. I have a few questions. Question #1 -I understand alcohol is covered, and see several lounges in the plan; We have DVC at AKL Kidani. I see Victoria Falls Lounge and Cape Lounge at Jambo, but I don't see the lounge at Sanaa listed. I do see Sanaa in the plan - is the lounge also covered? (Maybe there isn't a name for it?). Question #2 - Are pool bars included at any resorts? Question #3 - Am I pushing my luck on question #2, lol? Thanks for your help! Jane

Best way to check is to look here: http://tablesinwonderland.com

I don't think that the bar in Sanaa is actually a separate entity of the restaurant itself so they probably take TIW. I don't know of any pool bars that take it and only a handful of CS take it-(there aren't many CS that do take TIW other than the value food courts and POFQ food court). Of course we're staying at POR next trip and we'll be visiting Riverside Mill more and they don't take it...:(

That's the only thing I don't like, seemed like once upon a time it was accepted at more CS restaurants (or I just don't remember :confused3), but if you go to sit-downs or the resort lounges a lot it can be a great savings.:thumbsup2

I have TiW & was just at AKV Jambo. We visited both pools, and was told definitely can't use it at either pool bar...

Thank you all for your quick responses. I had assumed the lounge at Sanaa was just considered part of the restaurant. I'm happy TIW is accepted there - it is one of our favorite quiet spots in all of WDW. Seems people haven't discovered it yet. (yaay). Too bad about the pool bars though - that's a bill that adds up quickly, lol. I will have to check out the official list regarding counter services. I thought all CS was included. Thanks again! Jane:thumbsup2

I do have one more question; If we have both DDP and TIW, can we use TIW on the portion of our bill that is not covered by DDP on the same bill at a sit down. For example, appetizers and alcohol? Thanks again, Jane

This is what we do!!!
Also the TiW was never taken at more CS than it currently is.
It was taken at resorts that didn't have sit down restaurants (Values, SSR at the time it was started and AK didn't really have TS then either). So that is the rationale. As it stands today it is taken at Pop, All Stars, AoA, SSR and AK. It is a very small %age of the total CS.
We love TiW.

The lounge at Sanaa, yes. I just used it there three days ago. The Kidani pool bar, no. Resort lounges will take TIW, but pool bars won't.
