So how many have all their ADRs already? And for those who do, what have you booked? Always nice to hear where folks are dining.

We booked our ADRs on our 180 + 10 day, & we're eating at the following restaurants:

Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Grand Floridian Café (breakfast) - new to us! (I've had a breakfast booked here for the past 3 trips, & we've ended up cancelling it each time. Hopefully, we'll make it this time - although I'm the only one in my family that's excited about this one... LOL!)

Crystal Palace (brunch/lunch)
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
Mama Melrose's (Fantasmic Lunch Package)
Sci-Fi (lunch)

Be our Guest (dinner) - new to us & we're so excited!
Chefs de France (dinner) - new to us!
CRT (dinner)
Garden Grill (dinner)
'Ohana (dinner)
Yak & Yeti (dinner)

And I may add T-Rex Café - younger DS is going through a dinosaur phase currently & has asked for a Dinosaur Birthday Party in July, so we'll see how long the dino craze lasts.

O'hana, LeCellier and Raglan are ones we have been to and love so going again. Tusker, The Wave and Via Napoli are new to us and wanted to give the a try. We had to change our dates to late Sept. from August due to something that popped up, but with free dining (hopefully) it worked out ok. The only ressie we lost was BOG, but I can live with it. We will be at Disney isn't that just awesome enough!

Well, we were originally planning on going from Nov 1-10, anticipating free dining, but those plans had to be changed because I found out I was pregnant! So we changed our reservation to October 3-12, a month earlier, also hoping for free dining. But now with free dining (un)officially announced, we changed AGAIN, to September 25-Oct 4! We are lucky, because our dates are very flexible. IF free dining is offered from Oct 3-12, we will switch back. But for now, looks like were going in September.
Is there a big difference in weather between end of Sept and beginning of Oct?

Also plan on some wicked rain storms. It's not every day but boy when they hit.......last September they were real thunder boomers. Cooled everything down and they hit around 5 so while we were getting ready for dinner it rained and when we were ready to catch the bus it was over, but holy cow they were torrential.

Going Oct 18 to Oct 25 and yes all ARDS are complete. Boatwrights, Wave, Yachtsman, Kona, BOG, and Itlan rest in Epcot and then one day to eat our way through Epcot. Counter service is pick and choose depends where we are when hungry. Can't wait an adulit trip this time around and staying at POFQ.

On pour last trip in 2010, there were no rooms available for CSR, so we booked POFQ. However, a few days later CSR had rooms and POFQ did not, so it is really hit and miss.

I made all of these reservations at the 180 mark, as soon as the phone lines opened. I tried ever day we are there ,to get a dinner at Be Our Guest , but none of the days were open at all. Thought for sure I could get something on my 180 plus 10 mark, when reservations opened, but I guess it wasn't in the cards. Hope we will get lucky with a walk up for lunch on one of those days!

I posted this in the Free Dining Watch thread but this thread seems to have more action right now so I'll post it here as well.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of rooms one person can book with Free Dining on one Disney Visa? We have 4 families planning on going together in September and 2 different Disney Visa holders. Booking together would be ideal but we can have 2 call, if necessary.

Ugh, this thread makes me nervous. Already booked at POR, have a Disney visa and will call and try to get free dining the day it's available. Hoping to stay with POR, but would take any of the mods. I should stop following this before I get an ulcer . So easy to obsess over a Disney vacay (and we have another trip before we even go to Disney and I'm never even thinking about that trip)!

There are plenty of moderate rooms. I can't see there being a problem, especially calling the first day. Remember in the past people were calling weeks into the promotion and still getting rooms.

Remember too that early that first morning, the only folks calling will be us. They don't send out emails announcing it until mid-day so only folks that read boards like this will know so early. It takes a while for a cm to book a package and complete the call, so a couple hundred of us calling at the same time can be enough to tie up the lines for a long time.

Last year, FD was offered to gen public much earlier than it will be this year. A family member called last year in July, months after the promo started and booked a mod. No worries!

I guess I am wondering should I book a deluxe room now and already have a room when the (hopeful) discounts are announced to ensure I get the resort of my choice?

If the discounts do not come can I downgrade to a moderate resort as long as rooms are available?

Can I use a AAA discount and then add the WDW discount?

Should I just wait it out?

Very stressed about this because we already have plane tickets.
