Dear all .... my partner Mick and I are booked on this cruise, as well as the 7 night following it. Our first ever B2B, but our 3rd and 4th Med cruise on the Magic.

I am in UK - Suffolk. Thanks - i will remember you have been on a few cruises and will probably have some questions nearer the time. My main prob is travel sickness but have been assured the cruise ship should be OK!

Lots of people I know who suffer from sickness either take tablets or use the sea bands. Have you tried either?

The ships don't really move like ferries .. they have stabilisers if the weather turns, but August in the Med is very calm normally.

Are you going to get off the ship, or just stay onboard and enjoy the free food? Don't forget that you can take your own alcohol onboard DCL, so a bottle of wine or 2, or some cans if that's your preference.

It's just got to be in your hand luggage ok .. you must carry it on, not give it to the porters to load onto the ship with your main luggage.

It was actually quicker than I thought but my partner booked us on this cruise just minutes ago !! Saying I'm excited is an understatement !!!

All with Disney ! We were on the Fantasy for the Eastern Carribean in Jan and we'll be on the Fantasy again next Jan for the Western

Do the day trips leaving the boat usually get booked quite quickly?

On the Pirate night question, there is another 4 night Med Cruise on 9th July, if we can get hold of the Navigators for that one I'd guess ours will be pretty similar if not the same?

Hi, we will be on the 4 nighter, our third disney cruise. There is a pirate night on the second night, it is listed in the activities section after you complete on line check in. I think they have listed it so that other activities can be booked around it. The only other thing noted is the sail away party.

Welcome Looks like a few Brits taking advantage of the short flight over to Barca.

We haven't booked any Palo ressies for the 4 night as my mum and our friend are coming onboard for the following 7 nights with us, so we'll try Palo brunch with them then.
May eat in Topsiders for pirate night as I can't stand the veggie menu!!

It probably will be mainly Brits on this cruise, I think it isn't selling as well as the longer cruises. I work for tesco and this particular cruise is even listed with the tesco travel service (supposedly a staff benefit) but they are not offering anything special rate wise. My previous 2 disney cruises were on the Magic, I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to the old Magic this summer. I booked a 12 night med for 2014 on opening day and have just today booked the following 4 nighter. It will be our first B2B, I can't believe I'm going to be on the Magic for 16 nights. Just hope I will be brave enough for the Aquadunk.
I think we've only got about 11 weeks to wait for this one so hopefully it will fly by.

I think that because it is only 4 nights and you need to experience all 3 restaurants then maybe skip Palo this time. You won't know which dining rotation you will get until boarding so it will be difficult to ensure you won't miss something you might really want to see. Also children can't go so you will be missing out on family dining time together.
