I have the IKEA chart too and have gotten some wonderful ideas from this thread.. One question: how do you plan to hang this on the hook? Is anyone adding a dowel rod to theirs?

I attached about a 2' length of Disney themed ribbon to each of the two upper corners. It worked well hanging from the fish.

Thank you for sharing the ikea pockets. That is a great affordable option. I have an ikea near by, but it did let me add it to the shopping cart so it looks like you can order it online.

Ikea is about an hours drive from me. I was going to order online but shipping was $10- item is only $4.99. i checked on ebay was able to buy a new one for $10.99 with free shipping. I decided to go ahead and order it. It came today and looks great except it is pretty wrinked when you un fold it. I tried using downy wrinkle release but it did nothing. I am going to hang it in my bath and see if shower steam will help. Over all though I am VERY pleased and think it will be perfect once I do a little decorating.

I ended up ironing mine. I set the iron to the synthetic setting, kept moving the iron and stopped every few seconds to make sure the thing wasn't melting LOL. On hindsight, I would only have removed the green trim that comes on the item; the red and blue are nautical colors anyway, right?

I love my original FE's (there are 7 of us, so we need 2), but they have run their course. We have had them on a Panama Canal cruise, Alaska, Baltic, and Dover to Barcelona repo trip. They have seen better days. So, for our Med cruise this summer, it is time to think about new ones, and these looks GREAT and EASY!! Thanks again all for sharing!!!

We have five in our family and I bought two Ikea hangers. I cut off one pocket and sewed the two pockets at the bottom of the one hanger. I printed images on iron on transfer paper and the. Ironed them onto the fe or each person. I didn't have trouble at all.
