Have you ever had a "Disney commercial moment"?

Have you ever had a moment at disney where it seems so unreal that it's almost as if your watching an ad for disney?
Mine was on this past trip. We got on BTM just after the fireworks had started.I remember as we were turning one of the corners that was outside you could see the fireworks above us and i couldn't help but smile at how lucky i was to be there seeing it.

We have had a "commercial worthy moment". It happened on our trip last September. It was dd's first trip (she was 3) and we had hit Fantasyland first at the MK. We had just gotten off of Winnie the Pooh, when Pooh came skipping by. He skipped by us and then stopped and turned around and motioned for dd to come over. She was star struck. She took off running and slammed into him with the biggest hug and started crying There was an attendant selling balloons right beside them and they were waving in the background. It was a picture perfect moment...total tear jerker for us seeing our dd. Truly magical

I get that feeling every time I watch the Celebrate A Dream Come True parade! Brings me back to childhood and always makes me tear up!

We have. When our then 3yo DS was in remission from leukemia we took a spur of the moment trip down with no planning at all. When we went to then MGM we happened to walk past a building with Sorcerer Mickey, but while we were parking our stroller they put up a sign saying he was leaving so as we were telling the kids that a cast member heard us and ushered us inside. When my DS went up to see Mickey, Mickey leaned down closer to him and he reached up and held the sides of his face and kissed Mickey's nose. It was such a sweet picture.

Yes, it was last summer. I did what quite a few parents of little girls do. I arranged Bibbity, Bobbity Boutique and a meal at Cinderella's Royal Table on the same day.

Tropical Storm Debby was sitting over the area and the day of my daughter's appointment turned out to be the worst day Debby brought as far as rain.

Still there was no lightening or even thunder with the storm, so we trudged on. We had a great morning in Adventure Land, met several characters and did a lot due to the low crowds, then went back to the resort to get dried off, change and get her stuff for her appointment.

Her makeover was amazing, she had a great time at her photo session and at dinner in the castle, but that wasn't it. During dinner, Belle became ill and didn't make her rounds while we were there. When we decided to leave, the staff arranged for us to go through the fast pass entrance for the Princess Meet and Greet at Town Square Theatre. I told them it was okay because we had Akershus the next morning, but they convinced us, plus it was on the way out so we trudged through the rain where a nice CM met us and took us to meet the princesses.

Last may, we booked the wonderland tea party on my daughters 7th birthday, Alice is her absolute FAVORITE disney character). We got some incredible pics off the photo pass site of her and Alice. There is one where Alice is holding flowers to my dd ear, and the look on my dd face is priceless. She letter told me that Alice asked her if she could hear the flowers singing her happy birthday. The photo is on my desk at work and it makes me tear up looking at it because its a moment I know she will carry with her for the rest of her life.

The very moment we walked my son, at 5, into the MK for the first time, the parade was going on. Frozone grabbed his hand and had him (all of us) walk in the parade behind their float. It was surreal - his eyes were just popping out of his head. And this was literally during his first 10 minutes ever in Disney.

My son's second trip was when he was 2. We were the last family in line for the Princess M&G with Cindy, Belle, Aurora, and Snow. Each of the princesses kissed his bald head and asked if they could get a picture with their 'prince' together. They all sat around him in a circle and 1 second later he started BAWLING. Cutest PP pics ever, and truly a magical moment.

On our first trip to Disney (kids were 3 and 6) a cm came over to us and asked if our kids would like to ride Dumbo with Mickey and Minnie. Mickey grabbed my son's hand, Minnie grabbed my daughter's hand and off they went! We felt like celebrities. Then my kids walked with Mickey and Monnie hand in hand back to the castle.

What an amazing experience!!!!
And yup, we were officially hooked on Disney!

I love these sweet stories.

When we were in WDW last time my husband and I were in line for Splash Mountain and a father and son were behind us, the boy looked about 8. The son said "Dad, I had so much fun today with you and mom. Thank you for giving me the best day of my life." It was so sweet. My husband and I just squeezed our hands and smiled as we listened. We now have a son and I hope he says the same thing one day (or at least thinks it!).

Yup- but the moment didn't really *happen* at Disneyworld, although it did HAPPEN at Disneyworld- about 1 months after coming home from a July trip, I found out we bought home a little souviner- like in the commercial DS just turned 10!!! And no, he wasn't planned, but he is a GREAT gift!!!

Awwwwwwwe!!! That is TOO sweet!!! I think that would make my life knowing that I had already been to Disney World before I was even thought of!! lol Disney would be my life (like it isn't anyway!!)

My son is a souvenir from a trip, but not to Disney. When my husband went into shock, I told him "hey, the trip was your idea."

Several!! Often when we first walk out onto main street from under the train station. I get a tingle. One year, my son took his girlfriend with us, and her eyes widened and she smiled as they held hands. that was pretty magical.

A week ago we took our children to Disneyland for the first time as we were walking to the gates my sweet 9yr old looked at me and said "mommy, I can't believe we are really here" I then walked into the park crying happy tears from her excitement. A moment I will never forget

Oh! I just thought of another, which is actually my favorite, so I don't know why I didn't post it sooner:

When my son was 3, he *loved* Peter Pan... LOVED. And we'd had trouble finding the character to meet. But then we were watching the parade and I had him on my shoulders and lo and behold, Peter Pan on a float. We started walking along the sidewalk ( behind people, we weren't shoving ) to keep up with the float while he cried out "faster daddy! Faster!" and waved furiously at him to be seen by Peter. Eventually, he turned on the float and waved in our direction, and it was a moment he still remembers when Peter waved at him.
