DCL has asked for quite a while not to use tape or adhesive on the doors, hence magnets of all sorts and shapes and colors and sizes are used.

The FE gets hung from the fish outside your stateroom door, not on your door and is strung over it.

The door damage is referring to things like over the door pocket organizers which can scuff the paint. I have seen a few ideas on how to deal with this issue pop up here on the DIS and facebook as well.

I am completely dying, every one of my wishes granted! I'm in love! I'm especially excited that they will redesign Flounder's Reef and give us an AquaLab! The Mickey pool really was a crowding issue, I think this will be a better use of space. The only thing I'm iffy about is the atrium. I was a big fan of the double staircase with Mickey in the middle. But no big deal, I am a happy girl! I have a feeling they are holding out on us with that image of the chandelier. They're not going to replace Chihuly with that. Just a speculation! I don't think the AquaDunk disrupts the flow of the ship at all, they did a great job. The virtual AquaDunk video makes it look like you step in to a chamber and the floor drops out from under your feet... Ah---maze--ing!!!

I totally agree with all of the above and am beyond excited too!!!

I am wishing we could book the Wonder after dry dock too.....

Cannot wait until October 20, especially now that we know what changes are being made. I booked this cruise while on the Dream back in January, which was our very first Disney cruise - DH and 3yo DD had the best time. I had mixed feelings...excited to be doing a double dip at Castaway Cay but a little sad that DD wouldn't get a chance to go on the Aqua Duck (she was too small while on the Dream). However, after seeing pics of the kids areas I knew she would love Captain Hook's ship but then to hear that might be gone, again, I was a little sad. But now, wooohoooo, her favorite part of Andy's room (Slinky Dog) is now going to be a spiral slide! So now I am so much more excited about our cruise on the Magic! We've never been to Disney World so we decided a Disney cruise would be for us and boy were we right...we are now hooked!! All I can think about is our next cruise, and the next...

I hope to meet some of you while on the "new" Magic!! Tarina

I am beyond excited! My kids are going to go nuts when they see the new slides. I feel like I'm being greedy here - but has anyone heard about them adding something like the mid-ship detective game?

I wondered about Mid-ship as well... They did say they didn't announce everything so there is still hope
