Just thought I would post my frustration here! :)

This dining reservation website sucks! Trying to get the dining with imagineer for a date and shows availability. Go to enter info, get a 500 error.

Call up, ask for date, CM's say it is full or the system isn't working properly.

Not sure whats going on as I even try to book one for a couple weeks time and get the error!

Tried the 'old' site too but just seems exactly the same to me.

I agree, it is very frustrating! I much preferred the old dining reservations platform over the "Disney Experience" one. However, I can usually get it to work. If the reservation agent was not able to make any reservations either, tje system may have genuinely been down for a while - just try again later.

Another idea is to try another browser. Sometimes it just isn't working in Firefox, but when I use Safari it works fine.

Even though their theme parks and films are cutting-edge, the Disney website has always been pretty awful! I have no idea why that is, but it drives me crazy!
 
I feel your pain. I tried to book a room for 11 months out and website shows no availability. Luckily after calling the cm was very helpful and gave me the information I needed. Hopefully, this means Disney is doing a complete overhaul on their systems. Come on fast pass +
 
While I used the "old site" to book my ADRs this past Monday, I was able to use the "new site" this morning to book a lunch Dine with an Imagineer at HBD without an issue. The dates are out and available. I would call again (and again and again if need be) until you get a CM that knows how to book it. Unfortunately, not all phone CMs are on the same level. Some are great at getting problems solved and some are not.
 


Call and immediately ask for Guest Services "supervisor". When you get one, ask if they are in Tampa. If they aren't in Tampa, ask for Guest Services located in Tampa. Then you will get an experienced agent who will take care of anything for you.

And as you said about getting an imagineer reservation, tried again today and got in! So so excited for this!
 
I have been trying for days to cancel some reservations I made, but every time I get the message "We are currently experiencing problems displaying reservations. Apologies for any inconvenience. " If I can't cancel them, are they going to charge me $10 per person for each reservation???????????
 


They will only charge you if it required a credit card guarantee.

However its courteous to other guests to cancel so if you cant do it online, call them on (407) WDW-CNCL :) Others then have a chance at getting a ressie for a place:)

Glad to hear you were able to get a reservation. Were you able to do it online or did you have to call? I'm pretty excited for it, too. It's one of those things that has been on my Disney Bucket List, but just never got around to doing.
 
Getting really grouchy that I cannot make any reservations online today!

I managed to get it online. Randomly tried and it came up! Was well pleased!

And it is annoying, Disney get everything right...except their websites
 
I haven't been able to make any ADRs online for the past three days :headache: ... I have called the tech support help desk, or whatever Disney calls it :rolleyes:, multiple times but they are of no use AT ALL ... They ALL say the same thing, "we understand your frustration but we will connect you with a dining specialist who can assist you in making your dining reservations" ... I don't want to talk to a dining specialist, (because they take forever), I want to be able to make my own reservations online :headache: ... And don't even think about asking to speak with a supervisor - there is NEVER one around! :mad: ... I think MyDisney Experience is the absolute worst Disney Experience EVER :eek: ...

And on a side note ... It saddens me to say but I am also very disappointed with the cast members who have been answering calls recently ... They don't help at all, they seem to all read from the same script, they give wrong info and are always putting you on hold - which I think they do on purpose hoping that you will hang up ... They only seem to be interested in reminding you to take the survey at the end of the call ... Sure, I'll take the survey :rolleyes1 ... With the bad customer service I have been getting lately, and it's not been just this week, I'm really considering canceling our trip and taking a break from Disney until they get their act together with their new MyDisney Experience mess :( ...

Thanx for allowing me to vent :) ...
